I don't think his comment had negative intensions. I think he's outlining the fact that some models have option limits. There's no reason they couldn't package the Base, Big Bend and Black Diamond as one model with build options.

Let me start off by he started off with an excellent post! He truly did. But I had trouble following his logic at the end. What you are saying makes perfect sense, and if that was what HE was saying, then he'd be correct. I could have misread the post. Last checked, I was born on planet earth which would make me... what's the word? Human. Wish he'd put it like you did.

Well the difference is that other industries don't typically accept reservations for new products, if it isn't in stock because of delays then you either wait or you purchase something else that is in stock if you are impatient.

As I said in my other post, why accept reservations and a deposit when you have no guarantee when you can deliver the product. Ford is using the same practices as a sh!tty start up company on go fund me.

Everyone accepts pre-orders on new products….it’s partially how production is funded, silly! It’s called Business 101!

This is not 100% Ford's fault. Check EVERY OTHER car lot in your town and see they are empty too!! The Covid Lockdown is to blame for this mess. The Webasto Factory couldn't get built in a timely manner in 2020 because it happens to be located in Michigan. Michiganders' couldn't even buy garden seeds because the governor called them non-essential. Ford actually made respirator's instead of vehicles for awhile during 2020.

Everybody who wants to hate on Ford, PLEASE cancel your reservation so they hear your frustrations loud and clear. It'll get me that much closer to getting my TOY (a non-essential First World luxury). On that note, does anybody NEED a Bronco?? Doubtful. We all just WANT it Real Bad....

No sir. Ford has invested over a billion in the bronco and like any other company they want their investment back.

Also, Ford's EV vehicles (Mach-E and the soon to be released Lightning) shares very little parts with the Bronco.

Are EVs important? HELL YES if you want to be relavant 10, 20 and 30 years from now

It strikes me that the real focus of FORD and most car manufactures these days is EV's. The BRONCO project while exciting to us and many others is outside of the PC lane.

Webasto's plant was a year behind schedule because they illegally clear-cut all the trees on the plant site, and wound up in litigation for a year. Nothing to do with Covid -sorry!

Worst case is all MIC tops show major quality problems after a few months on the road and Ford takes zero responsibility for fixes

COVID lockdowns and supply chain issues equivalent to 2020 occurring winter 2021 into 2022, making the production situation no better in 2022 than this year.

Truly massive amounts of dealer stock being produced before even a significant dent is made in the reservation backlog, and many dealers treating reservation holders like total garbage compared to their massive ADM buyers.
