If we already have a build date and a vin, does this mean they're not scheduling NEW stuff, or does it put us in limbo, too? I'm now an 8/16 "build date."
Same question 🙋‍♀️

Can anyone explain/confirm what this "Scheduling Toolbox" is showing? Does this relate to production?? Or, is this for orders that do not yet have a build/production/blend date? (Bonus points if you can also explain to me what a "blend date" is, and how it's different than a "production date" :) )

I've read elsewhere that this 'does not have to do with production, and the most of August is already scheduled'. And, 'when scheduling resumes it will be for 8/30-9/27.'

Thank you!

This is just wow. Honestly, Ford’s just toying with us now right?

1. Covid screwed the pooch, I get it.
2. Chip shortages, sucks, but ok, I can understand…
3. MIC Tops, little control over the situation but they should have figured that out ASAP….crappy, but whatever…
4. Announcing the Maverick and shoving it into production super quick…Priceless
In reading a few of the reviews/conversations about Maverick, it sounds like that truck is a hot mess of short-cuts and a cheap vehicle made cheaply......

Those expecting the fit and finish of a $40,000 will be in for a shock, it's a $20,000 truck built to that price point, regardless of how you tart it up with options.

It’s cool. I’m fine. Everything’s fine.

not really. Not at all.

Im so close to rage quitting it’s pathetic. We’re pushing 13 months into this fkn process and it feels like we aren’t any closer than opening night. They’ve made the explorer launch seem flawless.

i'll give them maybe 1-2 more weeks tops then screw it, plan b. i'll keep my bronco order just in case it comes in in the next 1-2 years. but put order in for something else, likely mach-e. betting they found that soft top issue someone posted here with the hole starting in the top. if thats the case they cant make anything. mic tops are junk, and soft tops are no better. ford posting they were going to give vins out for september then cancelling a day later is very bad sign. just ship mine with the hard top prep package, i'll find aftermarket roof

Having a VIN is just a warm an fuzzy that you are getting "Close". They can, and have, delayed scheduled Build weeks multiple times so far (3 occasions, each one week further for me personally).

This thread is talking about scheduling, but reading between the lines that is only because they are going to punt scheduled builds as well in order to free up the line for either a bunch of clean builds (dealer soft top inventory) mixed with whatever reservations already scheduled that ma to ch this criteria also.

Oh boy. Reservation made last July 14th 2020? Order placed this past February 24th and was number 22 at my dealer. I was told I was on the bubble for getting a MY21, but then we all know everything that has hit the fan this year. I changed my MOD Top for a soft top this past May with the hopes that I'd be an early MY22 production. Current thoughts. Not happy about all the delays, but more concerned about the quality issues and yes I know its a new vehicle. My order came out to $58K and I truly wonder if it's worth it. I was hoping to trade in my current car this spring/summer and be rolling in the Bronco, but the uncertainty of knowing IF I will even get a truck in the next seven months is concerning. Worse yet, will the quality issues get resolved and will Ford be able manage those issues as effectively as they have rolled out the truck? Haha...Yikes. Been looking at F-150s and alternate vehicles.

Ford has officially withdrawn from all scheduling events, in order to focus on mental health.
