More questions than answers, though I guess that isn't saying much.

There was supposed to be scheduling this week, but now there won't be.

Issues remain with no clear solutions.

The trucks are amazing, the few issues are maddening. And addressing these amid a sustained supply chain mess, materials backlog, and labor shortages are setting things back, and back, and back.

Takeaway from my conversations is that they are super gun shy about making more promises that can't be delivered upon. The ceiling of MY21 builds keeps getting lower.
So I guess the other question here.... does the unanswered questions affect builds already scheduled in August.

Exactly, same for me. GIve me a six month spread (2H 2021, 1H 2022) and it's satisfactory. A quarter estimate (ie q2 2022) would have exceeded my expectations. As it is, Ford has come in far below the bar for communication.
Ford will not give us any information that might cause someone to realize they are not getting their Bronco quickly. If they know a 7/15 reservation won't be built until MY22, why would they tell us? Instead it is in their best interest to not say anything. If we were told that we might decide to purchase something else. Not telling us simply strings us along. If Ford is lucky, it might be long enough such that we end up waiting until MY22.

I rarely get upset, but mine has been “in production” since the week of 6/28 and I haven’t heard a peep. If something is up I’m cool with it, just give me some type of heads up. I reserved mine within the first 2 1/2 hours after launch and I know people who have received their Broncos that reserved days after me. I don’t like the lack of communication.

….and there's the rub.....what is the ceiling projected to be based on known constraints?

Mike Levine scanning his script: "Let's see, 'Stay Pumped', no just used that one. 'Follow Your Heart', nah, that doesn't make sense. 'Stay Tuned', perfect."

“Cool! Stay tuned.” Yikes.
To echo an earlier poster, I will just wait and take delivery. I want this truck for many reasons, including sentimental ones. My grandfather was a Ford dealer, and the first memories I have of “driving” (turning the wheel at least) were in a late 70’s Bronco. But this process, especially the communication, is turning me way off. The whole process, including the constant and repeated delays, has put Ford squarely into this build window that has so many added issues. I will definitely never, ever, pre-order a vehicle through Ford again. If I find something on a lot in the future, maybe. But this process will linger for a while.

As each weeks passes, we get closer to Ford announcing the redesigned 2022 Ford Ranger. For some potential Bronco buyers, that may be a viable alternative. With my focus on overland adventures with off-the-grid camping along the way, a Ford Ranger FX4 or Ranger Tremor might be something to consider.

When you examine how Ford is expanding technology found in the Bronco to other vehicles, the Ranger may receive Sync 4, one pedal drive, shocks with remote reservoirs, etc.

Ford may reveal the 2022 Ranger in September. Ordering might begin in October. Production might begin in December. Deliveries in Feb/March. Fun could potentially begin in April.

Ford would be wise to promote the 2022 Ranger as a viable alternative for those who are cross shopping for an off-road vehicle. Especially if the Bronco rollout is further delayed into 2022. That way the MAP employees could have vehicles to build.
