Bruh if someone says report to the BBB im gonna go slap the shit outta someone. BBB does nothing. It’s just another “Yelp”
Don't slap me! I actually got $1500 back from a dealer service department that replaced a computer that wasn't bad. The business has to care what their rating is on BBB. Without BBB I would have been sol.

Um…..anyone else notice the OP says they ordered the Bronco “online”? That’s not how it works……not at least here in the States……you reserve “online” and then have to place the order in person at a dealer of your choice…..at the time of ordering you and the dealer will select all options and the price will be calculated……then a order sheet will be filled out with said price along with dealer prep and any local tax and title costs…..then it will be added up and the finial price agreed on…..both dealer and orderer will sign said order sheet locking in the price. So I’m calling BS on this whole thread…..

I ordered on-line (communications strictly through e-mail) in the US, so it is definitely possible

Hell no. This can't be a thing...Ford don't allow this. All reservations should have price protection

I definitely didn’t visit a dealership for my 2 orders. Everything done through email and any changes made, received a follow up DORA to reflect changes and revised price.

I'll apologize for not going thru 15 pages, but has anyone sent the dealer information to Mike Levine yet? I know he has gotten corporate involved on Mach-E ADM's.

Price on the Dora means shit. Signed Purchase might have leverage.

Make a sign that says "I got screwed by this business, beware!" and walk the hell out of the public sidewalk in front. As long as you don't mention their name nothing they can do. Then kick their ass on social media for good measure and get everyone you know to chime in. Complain with your state consumer affairs office just to be sure.

Thanks for the insight. Doing some Googling it does seem you're right that new cars are generally loss-leaders for the dealerships while service is where most profit is made.

It does still seem like we'd be better off if there was a choice at least. Order straight from Ford for invoice cost, or order from a dealership at slightly higher price, but they include some kind of service plan to make it attractive to consumers.
I have to call bullshit on that thin margin, on average a dealer‘s overhead is 10-15% for each new vehicle, that magical invoice number they are more than eager to share with you is less than 8%. You will not find on the internet what an actual dealer pays per car, for those that want to dispute provide screenshots of actual invoices paid by a dealer to a manufacturer. Have you ever pondered at the number of lobbyists the dealer organizatipons have working for them, or how laws protect the dealership model? on Clark.com you can read “The eye opening truth about dealer invoice prices”.

I’d keep contacting Ford and play dumb, “ my Bronco says it’s been shipped but it hasn’t arrived?!” Every. Day. Make sure they know it was sold to somebody else. Isn’t there a loss of a location for that? The local media angle is a good idea too, around here channel 12 chases people around with the cameras out over anything
