I have been emailing with the online consultant at Ford Country in Henderson, NV (Las Vegas Valley). Initially, she indicated that Ford Country will be sticking with their current meet or beat policy that they use at the dealership. There are 3 dealers around me, and she was the first to, initially, indicate that they wouldn't do ADM's or addendums. The remaining dealers did not know at the time, pre-reservation opening, what pricing they would use. I decided to put my reservation in with Ford Country, for my FE, 4 door based on the limited information I had.
We have now had 2 more email exchanges, the first one indicated that they do not know exact pricing, but would not be adding any markups or addendums. She also said that they will have a $29 titling fee, and $499 doc fee. That sounded pretty good to me, until about 2 hours later with the follow up email.
She wrote back and said "Quick followup to my initial response: It looks like the Bronco pricing will not be blanket, so I can't comment as of yet how our dealership is planning on handling it."
then,
"Apologies"
I would say, for now, Ford Country, Henderson, NV, is uncertain, but leaning towards the potential of marking up their sales/deliveries of the Bronco. She also will not comment on X-plan pricing. The management is still trying to figure out pricing.
I know there is a lot of confusion and uncertainty at dealers right now, but it is usually within the initial moments of confusion where an individual or groups true spirits show. I don't think I will be basing my business with a company that initially goes straight to gouging a client base, who they probably have the potential to make more money off of accessories and servicing than on the initial sale of the Bronco.
Edited for forgetting about X plan
