Everyone seems eager to get their Bronco, but maybe we should be careful what we ask for...

Companies are notorious nowadays for pushing out half baked products, with the promise of fixing and refining down the road, to expedite their ROI. The MIC roof is turning out to be one of those stories.

The 2021 may go down in history as being a lemon year no one wants. Personally, as the days creep on and more information surfaces, I'd rather wait for that painted top in 2023 to save myself some trips into the dealer and watching my MIC for issues...

Amen to the first part of your statement. We should be fine as guinea pigs provided we pay up for bumper to bumper max coverage and as long as Ford doesn't try any tricks with 'operator/owner error' etc on any particular issue that may arise.

My 2007 tundra I bought new as first year redesign and I think I had 40 or 50k on it before they had to replace the driveshaft and rear diff on it under warranty. So it's a stretch but in a way it was a nice refresh, at least of that part (and others replaced under several TSBs over the first 7 years)

I expect the top to look like crap after the first few years. I also expect it to leak at times too. I'm going off road with my Bronco and it most likely get dinged up. No convertible never leaks, that's just not reality.

If the honeycomb shows up, I think it will be neat looking, but I'll not wax mine.
