As you mention, most people understand that 1st year for anything is the beta test of model years and if worried go for the second or a later model year.

I find most early adopters are ahead of the curve and very happy with their decision. Put me in the happy camp if I could get a 21.

It usually sorts itself out by end of Job 1 which were most of us are heading Job 2 builds. The unique situation with the Bronco is it just started soo late in the cycle and then with delays does not help the feedback loop.

As long as the issues stick to the hard top... which to me is like an accessory... and NOT the actual mechanics of the vehicle I am fine as you can always swap tops when available.

If there were more issues with say the drivetrain... engine... etc... then I would be worried... but I am not.

Just showing some patience for being an early adopter.

I'd gladly take delivery with a subpar '21 MIC top. Then I'd get a Bestop soft top as soon as possible. The MIC top can sit in the garage until warranty replaces it, for all I care. Whoever thought 2 dr. shouldn't have a factory soft top option from the get-go, is an idiot.

I leased a 2021 Tacoma in January because the Bronco was delayed. I have a 7/14/2020 2:30 am reservation with order placed 3/8/2021. With the MIC top problems I’m not sad if mine doesn’t arrive until 2022. I agree that if the issue is just the top then no big deal and they can warranty it later.
