Some mfgs also put a rubberized or bumpy texture paint down there. Could be that as well. Don't know, never seen one.I don't think it is cause you can see it other pics it doesn't look right like in @CSRedDragon pics noted above with his bronco. The waviness is a reflection, but when you zoom in you can still see it doesn't look finished

Step bars/rock rails will fix it. It does look pretty shitty. I guess it’s just hidden better on my truck.

I’m holding out for the amp steps or something retractable. I can get in and out just fine it’s my fiancé who needs a boost.
The gorhinos are my second choice though they look great and are affordable.

Stay away from go rhino as well as 4wp?
I never dealt with go rhino. Seems like they make nice stuff. I only judge a company on how they handle things when they screw something up. 4wp made my situation right after I emailed the ceo so I shouldn’t of been quick to judge.
