no deposit required at my dealership in VA. I was told if I don't like it/want it when it shows up, just walk away....they have a list of people that are looking for one!

Seems super sketchy, but like others have said - See what tomorrow brings. If they give you a VIN, check it out on the build tracker to make sure it’s actually yours. If they don’t provide one, speak to the GM. I wouldn’t go in looking ready to fight… that won’t get you anywhere. Having a calm discussion with the GM will go a lot longer if you start out that way. That was my impression as well, I feel vindicated now. Charged up to chew some ass tomorrow morning lol

My dealer asked for zero down. As they could not guarantee when I would take delivery. I offered 1k but they refused.Good to know, I thought most dealers required 500-1000 dollars when the order was submitted? That not the case?
These are car salesmen we're talking about, they lie to people's faces on a daily basis.Go there in person. It’s a lot harder to lie to someone’s face. Plus you can watch them refund your deposit to your card then and there.
That's probably typical. Some ask for more, and some didn't ask for anything beyond the original $100.Good to know, I thought most dealers required 500-1000 dollars when the order was submitted? That not the case?
