I live in metro Detroit and have a few friends who work on both sides of this, both for Ford and for some of the tier 1 suppliers, and from what I'm hearing there's a bunch sitting at MAP that have some MIC top and other issues currently, so Webasto needs to step their game up! My FE has been sitting in production since 6/30 and apparently it's built, but waiting on a top-as many others are it sounds like since we are all sitting in this "in production" limbo.

Very frustrating overall, but looking at this from a manufacturer and supplier standpoint most startup new models the build is no where near 100% retail orders like our Broncos have been. Don't get me wrong, they have been sold out for years on specialty lines before, but never a main line model let alone starting it in the middle of a pandemic.

I know at the end of this seemingly never ending waiting process it will be worth it, but I'm really getting tired of refreshing my status screen every 15 minutes and getting myself worked up every time my phone rings thinking it's my dealer with some great news :ROFLMAO:

Is it better to just be ignorant of the entire process, or to be able to sit here and watch each rotation number roll through MAP and count down until mine gets blended in?
I can tell you my experience. I watched the app every day when I got a blend date of 6/25. 6/25 came and went with no update on the app that it had been built. 2 days later Ford sends me an email that it was built 6/25 and the app magically gets updated. Then I get an email with an expected 7/25-31 delivery and the app had 27 days expected before shipping. I checked the app on 7/12 at bedtime (because I was obsessively checking it multiple times a day) and it did not show any change. I get a call from my dealership early on 7/13 to let me know my Bronco arrived and when I looked at the app it skipped the shipping part and went straight to delivered.

Not to mention down loading your window sticker 15 times a day...or more.

This is my understanding of how it has been working for everyone.

Unfortunate as some of us have to arrange our personal finances and with the market volatility it'd be nice to have a few days head as up 🤦

In hindsight,
@KyTruckPlant should have kept this rotation number business to himself .... I'd be much less frantic the past two days.

Any scotch or bourbon suggestions? LOL

It’s better to ignant because any unexplained delay will drive you nutz. See the threads with all the Broncos built late June early July that are just sitting in production purgatory.

I'm going to open one of my bottles of Blantons once my unit shows up, but a waiting bourbon I think someone posted a picture of a bourbon called Bronco bourbon in another post-I figured buying that and drinking it while we are waiting would help persuade the MAP and hard top gods to speed things up :ROFLMAO:

Blanton is very good, haven't had any in quite awhile.
I was shocked by Bullit bourbon for the price.... bought it at a big box retailer!!!
Same for Ardbeg, everything I've tried from them is very good....if you like peaty/smokey.

Looks delicious. I quit drinking five weeks ago, but look forward to driving a Bronco to AA very soon. As it turns out for me, stopping drinking is easier than getting a Bronco.

I received my "Built" email at around 3 am. I hope it gets on a truck this week, its usually a same day delivery once it leaves the plant!

And you were 7/13 blend date, correct? That's pretty fast for a built email. Are you northern Kentucky?
