Purchased and assembled the Yakima LockNLoad platform K with gear mounts and gear. Plan to use crossbar mounts for my 2-door.
Rack, mounts, gear and fuel will equal 109pounds. Size work well on a 2-door as verified with actual Bronco at Off-Roadeo.

That pic isn’t using the Ford rails…is this even possible? Are there single crossbars from Yakima or otherwise that are approved to mount to rear shell only?

Ford has not released the 2 crossbars that attached to the hardtop. No information has been released from Ford.

Ford is not going to make those rails and Yakima is not going to make a platform that size

I bought the rack on Amazon for hundreds less than through Ford.
The boards were sourced at a great deal via a place in Arizona. Spent time finding suppliers with deals last November before the supply chains broke. It was what I needed and the prices were right.
