Dear Build Date Recipients,
You unappreciative ingrates. I’m not sure how you were raised, but somewhere along the line you should have been taught to refrain from looking a gift horse (uh em, Bronco) in the mouth.

Some of you had no right to expect a build date based on your Johnny come lately timestamps, which came at the expense of much more deserving and appreciative customers. Apparently, the old adage….no good deed goes unpunished is still a thing.

So, Mike Levine (Ford) has taken the following actions; Your build dates have been rescinded and awarded to 1st and 2nd day reservation holders that don’t have a propensity to incessantly whine. For those of you that were already 1st and 2nd day reservation holders but saw fit to bust our blue oval balls over fluctuating build dates, well, you’re going back to the end of the line as well until you can learn some humility. You like apples? How do you like those apples?

To the beneficiaries of this new procedure…..congratulations. You are now on notice to behave and watch your posts, because we will be watching you. Any real, or perceived criticism of Ford and their process will force our hand, and all your Broncos will be shipped to Canada where the citizenry is less spoiled……and your Broncos will no doubt be fabricated into the coolest Zamboni’s ever seen. Can you say Gretzky G.O.A.T. Mode?

The mass emails are never good. I should’ve been more precise. I’m looking forward to more fordpass points. Or they can give me an allocation for a warthog and I’ll drop my reservation right now.

I honestly don’t know what’s worse, having a build date in June getting pushed to August or not having a build date at all.

Non VIN havers will say it's the latter and they're probably right. The former hasn't been so great either, especially knowing you should have been one of the first and now all these other people are getting one before you.

My two cents. Why have a preorder and prepaid to lock in your orders when you have priority orders, people getting VIN's infront of people that took the time and effort to put a free loan to Ford for Broncos?

Why have pre orders at all if its all random. They shouldn't have even offered pre orders at all if this how they conduct business. I know i know, commodities are lacking but that still doesnt count for all the people that were able to jump the line. Sorry not apologizing for that.

I have a build day and I get nervous when they do these mass communications. Could go either way

8/2 is the target for full speed production at MAP. LOTS of orders have been bumped to that week because there are plenty of slots to fill. MAP's ramp up is ahead of schedule and should remain that way, allowing many of those 8/2 build week units to be pulled back forward.

The shift to 8/2 was essentially a place to "park" lots of orders as other things were sorted out. I know it's frustrating, but it's a far better option then bumping back 1 or 2 weeks at a time on repeat.

I don’t have a vin. I know it will be built at some point as a 2021. I’d be pretty upset if they pushed me back 2 months then moved someone who reserved after me up.
