I assume this means the MIC top issue is still uncertain that they want to delay scheduling until they have a better handle for how many tops they will actually have to build...I didn't really expect them to schedule this week anyway, as they skipped the FE scheduling last week so I thought that would happen this week....now we're two weeks off of cadence.

The Ford rep told my dealership contact that if I stuck with my two door order I wouldn’t see mine until 2022. I’m a first day reservation and #10 out of 60 orders. He also recommended removing the Sasquatch and tow package due to them being high constraints and having a good chance of also delaying my order.

Folks don't schedule production, it is way too complicated for people to do this!

Ford uses multi variat optimization programs to chug the data and spit out what is to be produced. What changes are inputs to the process like;. How many MIC tops are available today. How many are expected in the next week, in the next two weeks, three weeks, etc. Number of early res holders now opting for soft top, # of Sasquatch rims available today, rims expected available next week, in two weeks, 2.7L available today, next week, week after and so in for every part. Throw in dealer allocations and other stuff. All this data changes every day. Humans aren't capable of dealing with the data.

Do we know what part of the SAS package is the constraint? I've searched and have not found a definitive answer. I believe some theorized it was the Goodyear tires.

THATS IT IVE HAD IT! I encourage everyone to cancel their orders especially if they are V6, Sasquatch and MIC tops with a reservation before 3am 7/14. Let's show them we mean business!

I was a 7/19 week. Pushed to 8/2. No email, called Ford and asked for an update.

Wow....hope this isn't the actual case. My build has all of the constraints you listed.
Hard to believe that I reserved within the first 3 hours and still might get pushed to 22.
Ford should be embarrassed and ashamed....

I haven't gotten anyone to say that the existing scheduling formula was being changed, but the situation in Dearborn is VERY fluid as they're trying to get as many rigs moving as quickly as possible.

In more encouraging news, over 300 Broncos off of final on Friday and over 275 off of final today. Ranger blend is starting to trend down to make room for bumps in Broncos on FA.

To clarify, this is not the first week of the scheduling cycle. No new units have been scheduled for August, only units bumped from previously-assigned production weeks in June and July.

There will be new units added to August's production weeks in the same cadence as before.

At least some of the units pushed back to 8/2 from early June and July weeks will be pulled forward as cleanup scheduling fills up to meet increased production ability at MAP.. as commodity constraints allow.
