Anybody else thinking about cancelling if their build estimate is 2022?

I’m thinking that if I have to wait that long, I might as well reset. Read some real-world reviews; wait to see what unforeseen negatives present; see how crazy gas prices get; get in one and take my own test drive; see how Jeep and other manufacturers respond...

Right now I really want the rig, but that’s a pretty long wait. Might be a good idea to reset and widen my focus if I have to wait anyways.

Bruh, hired drivers on scripted trails isn’t real. If you’re in the blind faith group no matter how many years you have to wait, then good for you. Props. But I’m not OCD like that. I’m not stuck on an obsession.

As for the "scripted" trail runs, even if they are scripted, those trucks performed damned well. I do wonder how a "script" can make Moab as easy for a Bronco as it is for a Jeep, regardless of the driver. If the truck can't handle the course, no amount of "scripting" will see it succeed.

Then there's also the other half of me that isn't as excited as I once was and don't know if I really want to spend $40k. I really wish I got to see it in person. Pictures get old.

No way!! You think things are bad now? I have a bad feeling things are only going to get worse, not just for Bronco orders, but for a lot of things. I’m switching to soft top and keeping the price I have locked in now and getting the best trim I can afford.

If I have to wait until 2022 after already forgoing the mod hardtop I’m going to need another $1000 worth of FordPass points. And a cactus gray painted has can. I really hope that’s not the case.

You only get the points if you changed the mod top to mic (perhaps it includes a soft top, it was not clear on that to me) AND it is built as a 2021. If you are pushed to 2022, you get nothing.

I got an XLT 4x4 with the Sport package and I do really like it. The 2.3 is a good engine for that sized truck and I think they look sharp. It’s rapid red and right now I’m just adding some upgrades and getting it the way I want it. Not as exciting as a Bronco, but a really nice functional consolation.

I spoke to a guy today that is looking at cancelling his order, because he's forced with a decision to make. He has a lease on a vehicle that is coming due in six months. He hoped to have his Bronco before the lease ended, and said he could even see going a month with a rental, if needed. However, not knowing when he will get his order, the probability that it goes to a MY22 pushing a spring delivery, aggregate the factors of not knowing what the economy will be like, interest rates, etc, he feels he needs to cancel and buy another (gasp) Jeep now.

Most big brands will let you coast for 6 months doing month to month payments for a small penalty.

If I got bumped way back to the mid-late 22 timeframe and the 7 speed migrated to the 22 Ranger with any decent off-road package, I'd highly consider jumping ship. A truck is more useable for me and I have to give up my Tacoma for the Bronco. I will definitely miss having a truck bed come time to sell it.

Damn....you don’t mess around. Haha. That’s a sharp rig. Is it carbonized gray? The gray (or silver) works well with all the flat black. I preferred the FX4 package to the Sport that I bought, but I was determined to come home with a truck and took what was on the lot. Congratulations. That’ll tide you over nicely waiting for your Bronco. What color Bronco by the way?
