Love the responses. LOL

Working with my dealer now. The system kicked out the change so he's working with a Ford Rep to make the change.

I was on the fence between the 2-door and 4-door...but now the issue with the hard top I'm going with the 4-door with soft top and removing the tow package. I have a 7/15 timestamp and my dealer has me in his allocation number, so hopefully this will speed things up.

I plan on having the top off most of the time anyway, so I don't mind the soft top at all.
Hope all goes well for you. What are your thoughts on the 10R60 mess ?

I was always for the 2 door, but I do like the 4 door sas. Either way I would be happy. The extra space will be well worth it with the 4 door. Besides, it's looking like there will be very little 2 doors built this year if the hard top issue doesn't get fixed and it doesn't seem like it will be and even if they do they are backed up at this point. Besides there isn't a huge size difference
Yep, pretty much the same feelings here. I will enjoy the extra cargo space and yes, I definitely sasquatched my Badlands 4-door. Looks so good. I honestly would have been very happy with either the 2-door or 4-door, so this was an easy decision for me.

My dealer just confirmed the change with me. I now have the following Bronco ordered:
4-Door Badlands w/Sasquatch/2.7/Auto
Cactus Grey
Lux
MGV
Soft Top

No towing.

Fingers crossed!

Not worried in the slightest. I had a very spirited 1-hour ride outside Moab last month and loved the drivetrain. Personally, I think the reaction is overblown, but that's just me I guess.

However, changing from 2-door to 4 nets Ford several thousands of bucks more than the price of the 2-door (effectively rewarding Ford for this shitshow) and nets me a less-attractive Bronco that I can’t keep nice things in.

Decisions.

I think both the 2 and 4 door look great. Although the 4 door only looks good with bigger tires. The cost is a little more, but the sas on a 2 door is $7,385 while sas on a 4 door is $5,790. So at least the cost is offset a little.

I don’t need SAS. I think the BD 4-door looks great, and the tires are barely bigger than on the Base. I’ll immediately put more aggressive tires on it, so similar look.

I want sas, but I think you can only safely put on 33 tires on a non sas without a problem. 33" would look good though.

I’d stick with aggressive 30” tires to avoid speedo/odo issues.

And, frankly, if I’m going to have a 4-door I’d rather have the softtop. 4-door hard top is too many pieces to mess with. I can handle being caught in some rain around town with the doors off as long as I can at least sling the top back on.

And maybe later there will be an aftermarket hard top that doesn’t require a wiper and defrost, which I don’t need.

Anyone know if Ford allows changes from 2-door to 4-door? Considering making the change and can't find anything specific from Ford online. I do know you can change pretty much everything, but body style???
Get off the short bus and come on over to the regular bus

I called my dealership a little while ago. They’re gonna try to change my order from two door with hard top to four door with soft top and remove the tow package. I can get the hard top and tow package in the future. I don’t need the defroster and windshield wiper especially living here in the south.

And I don’t mind the four door. I was originally gonna get that anyways.
You are with SAC, correct?

Just went to the dealership to inquire. Manager on vacation until Wednesday. Salesman got my info and said the manager is the only one with access to change orders, so I’ll talk to him Wednesday.

However the salesman said his understanding is that it orders with DUAL tops causing a delay, but if you went with either hard or soft, you are okay. I’m assuming he out of the loop?
