March 18th on my way to order my Bronco, I stopped in at a Chevy dealer to see how the Duramax was in the 1500 Silverado. It was fantastic! So I traded in my ZR2 and I bought the Z71 crew cab diesel off of the show room floor and never looked back.

All the best!

As a car nut, I’m still following the forum to keep up with all things Bronco. I have to say though, it’s nice to be back in a full size truck.

I have basically the same truck.
Overall I love it.
Overall though I still want to trade it every so often for a Raptor.
It is super smooth and quiet (road noise at 70mph) as I am sure you already know.
Feels solid and plenty of power when you need it.
However, I have had a few petty things that are annoying, mostly needing to take it back to the dealer now 3 times for recalls, and twice now for "Software updates" when my brake system fails or the power steering fails. That part is not as fun.
Turning radius is only slightly better than my crew cab F250 was.
I find myself wanting to get rid of the running boards for ground clearance but the fam uses them every time getting in and out and I don't want to spend the $ for the motorized ones that tuck up under.
Beauty of a truck.
Mine is also Black....and you will want to clay bar and ceramic coat that thing ASAP.
I live on a gravel road, entrance to my work is also a gravel drive...so it is hardly EVER clean. Especially now during the annual pollening we suffer around here that lasts from Feb-Sept.
I did replace the factory tires with some larger BFG K02's.

I did replace the factory tires with some larger BFG K02's.
I also want to dump the running boards but my wife is short and actually uses them, I will end up with the motorized ones soon. I already bought a clay bar kit and ceramic coating, just waiting for leaves on the trees to give me shade.

I'm wanting to install a 3" lift and 295's but is sits pretty stout already. Going to wait it out through summer to make that call.

My buddy has the 3.0 in his Yukon Denali. He loves it.

If GM made a full size truck with ZR2-like specs it would be pretty damn tempting for me. Love my ZR2 though.

I really liked my ZR2, it is a great looking truck.

Very nice. That big boy should last you a long time. Enjoy.
