Hey guys,
Any info on the 7 speed manual, been wondering if it would potentially show you which gear you’d be in on the center info display , possible rev matching? How’s the shift quality / feel ? Anything along those lines, haven’t seen too many people talk about the manual much past it has 7 gears . Also do we know how the crawler gear works, do you need to pull up the lever like going in reverse or can you just use it like every other gear?

I noticed the parking brake is in a weird place. It feels more like a hood release down by the left knee.

I do not know how I feel about this. What a weird spot for a manual parking brake
Yeah I will probably look at my hood to make sure it's closed for the first few months when I apply it LOL. Does it disengage automatically?

It's not a manual parking brake. It's electric.
Yeah I worded that poorly. I meant a weird spot for a manual cars park brake. I have a bad feeling that my bronco is going to wake up at the end of my driveway a few times while I am building up the muscle memory

The only answer I have for your questions is:

Yes, you need to pull the collar up to engage C (exact same operation to shift in reverse). However, you do not need to lift the collar to go from 'C' to 1st gear.

I remember someone posted that when they sat in the manual Bronco. I can try looking for the thread.

You guys use the parking brake? The parking brake on my bronco 2 is first gear, the actual parking brake has be toast for... since I bought it. This will be a weird habit to get back into.

Agreed, very short light clutch and short throw on the shifter. Honestly, felt like a modern Mustangs clutch and throw. Under load, I expect it to basically feel the same as a Mustang does.

Does it disengage automatically?
the sales person at the bronco event in colombia MD said yes, it will disengage if you start to push the gas. It will not engage automatically when you turn the car off in gear like my wifes toyota. (i hate that feature anyway)
