I talked to my rep yesterday. Just a crap shoot, but I wanted to add SAS to my OB at the last minute. He said the computer would allow "little" changes but no "big" changes. hmmm anyone else changed an order recently? I'm a 10/2/2020 reservation

I'm guessing you're probably 2022. You'll have another opportunity for changes

You should be able to change literally anything... including trim. That's what Ford's official statement even says.

Either they don't want to humor it, or they don't know how to.

::EDIT::

Also what @amccue90 said. If your order hasn't been built by the time the MY22 change over happens, you'll have to resubmit your order to include MY22 options anyway.

Yeah I'm getting the "they don't know how to" vibe. I was on the phone with him as he was trying and he said it wouldn't let him. I have a 19 priority code so I was holding out hope for a '21. I won't be mad if its a 22 though. Thanks!

If it's an October 2nd reservation, you're more probably going to end up in MY22.

The orders are built like a pyramid... since there are so many incompatible options, if the person entering the order tries to change an option that is incompatible with a different one, it will spit out an error. (so like, if you try to change from a BL to a BD without first removing the Lux package, it wont work)

Add to this there were options initially available that are now MY22 only... so they can still exist in an order that hasn't been updated, but when the system goes to look at the options, it spits out an error.

Other forum members have reported success in modifying their order when dealers say they cant by informing them they need to work backwards and deselect basically every option in reverse until they get to the one they want to modify, and then reselecting and building it again.

Good luck!

Yup.
You can only add or subtract floor mats at this point.

😳
I read that somewhere ..... or maybe not?

That’s interesting you say that because on the builder website if I remove the paint protection film option it allows me to select SAS. If paint protection is selected no SAS option is available.

Like I said, make sure the dealer is de-selecting every option and working all the way back to a blank slate, and then rebuilding it from scratch.

Dealer sent me the updated "preview order" last night. I added Squatch. I haven't seen anything official and he hasn't answered if this delays my order or not. I doubt Ford even knows. I'm a 7/14 reservation. We'll see how it all goes in the end. If I get pushed to MY22, I won't be happy but I've already saved 70% of my down payment. So I can save more or buy some happy until I get my Bronco

Mine was changed today, major changes, so I don’t know if your dealer is competent or not. Although I was a 7/14 reservation I’m fairly certain I fell just outside of allocation, so that was my deciding factor to make the changes.
