Has anyone been told that the brush guard is not compatible with their build?

Got an email from the dealership saying the brush guard is no longer compatible with my build but I haven’t made any changes other than accepting the noising deadening liners.

My build:
4dr BL, SAS, 2.7L, MIC top, Towing, Lux

I’m tempted to say screw it since they are redesigning it but am genuinely curious as to why it’s not compatible. Dealership is looking into it as Ford gave them a list of 6 things which includes the MIC and MGV.

Does a brush guard inhibit MGV’s water proofing or does the MGV make the bar weaker?

I was also told the same thing. Called my local dealer yesterday to add a brush guard and the large platform roof rack and they said that both were incompatible. We discussed that it could be due to some future changes that will happen and I'm sure everything will smooth out. I would love to hear any updates.

When I try to build it , it says you have to remove the 2.7 and put the 2.3 in

They told me the same thing about the roof rails but never mentioned the brush guard when I confirmed the order. Guess they overlooked it or there was a fluke. That’s one more accessory on my list of things to buy.

Glad to see another person with the CG. I feel like that color doesn’t get much love.

This is not good, canadian here and have not got a memo, what is going on, you dress the rig to your preference and get bamboozled, hope this gets addressed and corrected, with all these changes along the way hope we get compensated for the disappointments looks like after market is a must at this point. Wondering if base was the way to go. OB, SAS,2.7,CG, tow, lux, bumper, bush guard

I am sure you can buy it at the parts counter at the dealership
