KanBan. . .
This is not anywhere close to how it works. If your really interested, do some research on lean six sigma and just in time inventory, the foundations of how Ford assembly lines run. There is never 15,000-20,000 of ANY part laying around available.
They are, in May.Well I think that is bullshit. They could send out an email explaining everything regarding time stamp, allocations and where everyone stands in line. Explain it is a Ford thing. You have no idea if you are even going to get a 2021. Don't they think you are already pissed off not knowing? How much more pissed can you be?
Yep, nothing! But always good for a distraction. So what did we learn?
I think he is credible and has a VIN. Good for him.18 pages...what’s the decision?
Burn at the stake? Or Roll out the red carpet?
Interesting.1) Isn't this different than the process you (dealer) told me that would be followed e.g., everyone would find out in May when to expect their build based time stamp, dealer allocation, and options? -- He indicated that it is a slight change to the process he expected and that he is doing everything he can to help his customers get the Bronco they want as quickly as possible.
2) When do you think the first 7 will show up at the dealership? -- He said Ford had messaged late May/early June but he thought it would be more like mid June.
You have no clue of what your talking about!not really, Ford will produce runs of the greatest order amounts of a particular model...if there is a run of 10,000 of the same vehicle and nearly the same specs, that’s what they make first and foremost. They won’t be making small runs of orders and changing setups every other few days. Granted if they somehow run out of 2.7 engines ..that’s obvious. I don’t think any of the first 15,000-20,000 reservations have to worry about shortages regardless of what they order.
