Keep in mind that of the roughly 80,000 Broncos being built in MY21, a fraction of a percent will be Priority Orders.
80k seems higher than what was said before. How official is this?

"Roughly" it's probably closer to 75k realistically. We don't know what the scheduling future holds, but before cut-off, including first editions, Ford has the ability to manufacture roughly 80k vehicles.

Most likely, it will end up being closer to 75k.

I have clammed up since my previous ranting Declaration of Impatience, but this chaps my ass. As I predicted previously, even though I reserved a Base on day one, which I would wager is the only Base ordered in Oxford, MS, and logically ought to be one of the first delivered here, some rich frat boy from out of state who has never had a job will somehow show up in a fully loaded Badlands with 70-inch tires and wheels from NASA before I get mine because his diddy is rich and connected in Dallas or Atlanta.

I know that’s the way of the world, but it’s annoying. They’ll be peacocking around in it while I’m begging Gamecock for a seat in his 4-door.

Sidenote: Almost chose Oxford White over AMB when I did my reservation, but just about every lifted 4-door Wrangler here is a white one, driven by a sorority girl.

Edit to add: Those who did not make a reservation on day 1 and were facing not getting a Bronco until next year, but we’re given a “priority” and now are getting one ahead of those of us who made immediate reservations, please don’t post about it here. I’m not going to start insulting folks, but do us all a favor and keep it to yourself.

The only entity I will insult is Ford for doing it.

We have bought many cars from the dealer here in the last 30 years, including my current one, and I still can’t even get the sales manager to call me back to answer a question or two. They never even contacted me in January about converting my order. I wasn’t on this forum then, so I didn’t even know I could do so until Ford sent me a last-minute email on March 15.

I envy customers whose orders are with some of the dealers who post here and who are clearly engaged, enthusiastic, and helpful.

Cappy, just curious, do you work at a dealer or for Ford?

I was one of the lucky ones I guess. My dealer texted me and said that they were awarded 2 priority orders. I was looking at end of the line MY21 or pushing to 22. I've been selected as one of the 2 priority orders for my dealership. I'll believe when I see the production schedule in May, but one can dream....

4-door Badlands, 2.7 Squatch Area 51.
Congratulations Mark. One thing, if it's OK I'm gonna be a little bit jealous. :)

Pretty sure this man is one them!

I honestly don't care, it'll go to a big customer, friend/family or someone they owe or want to be owed a favor, that's business.

Ford Bronco Priority Orders for 2021 Bronco. What are they, who gets them. 1617825744198

Not upset it's happening but would think a few hundred or so would make sense. Once you start talking thousands with already limited resources of certain models/specs, I do think it could impact when I get mine. My only thought is production is going better than expected so they will be able to build the extras before they expected anyway. And it's more quality control for the ones later built as they have more time to fix any potential issues.

Same. happy to wait a bit longer. Just giddy that it is actually starting!

i'm sure if my dealer got any priority they likely went to friends of the owner or to some NFL player or something that lives in the area. when we were placing our order the manager told us that the owner of the dealership was trying to figure out how to get people a 2021 bronco and the manager had to tell him people needed to make a reservation. so im sure if my dealership got a priority order there's someone connected with a late reservation who got to jump the line.
whatever, our order has high demand commodity items in it anyway, i'll just save more money for the down payment in the meantime.

This would truly make FE “second edition,” which is something people have already been saying but is still hilarious!
It is called First Edition, not first off the line.
