This timing has nothing to do with commodity shortage as far as i know. They planned on starting this yesterday, so a one day difference isn't a big deal.Wonder what the commodity shortage was...
What does "tooling is cycling" mean? Robots are starting to move and stuff?I can confirm, tooling is cycling on Bronco side of the shop. 6 so far, three 3door and three 5 door so far
Probably not.Great news! Now can we please have no more posts about chip shortages, ships stuck in a canal, supplier issues or any type of delay.
Oh the OP said commodity shortage. I am assuming they just got something a day late though. This timing has nothing to do with commodity shortage as far as i know. They planned on starting this yesterday, so a one day difference isn't a big deal.
Doors. Sorry 4 door guys and gals!Wonder what the commodity shortage was...
Sure, just not a government one. Some pinhead will take their Fiesta in for service and get to be the first one to drive the Bronco. They'll wrap it around a tree and it will be on the news. They'll be quoted as, "OMG! that was a new Bronco?"Does this mean we will see a crash test video soon?
Rear doors...lolDoors. Sorry 4 door guys and gals!
I'm 100s of miles away, watching Expeditions being built...but I can still see....Honestly, I just can’t wait to get one to my dealership so I can actually sit in one. I’m so freaking excited! Nobody here gets my excitement, LOL. I wish I was there, seeing what you’re seeing!
ExactlyWhat does "tooling is cycling" mean? Robots are starting to move and stuff?
Pop the corks! After a commodity shortage delayed yesterday's planned start, Bronco officially entered Phase 1 Mass Production at 8:30 a.m. today. These early builds will be used for press rides and dealer demos, and the official Job 1 date remains unchanged as 5/3, legally sellable, VIN numbered Broncos are moving thru the dedicated MAP body shop on their way to final assembly.
