Switching back to a FE.....possible?

I had a FE reservation on 7/14. But ordered the OBX to try and save some money. That said, if I wanted to change my order back to a FE, does anyone know if that is possible for MY21? Does your dealer or Ford release that reservation back into the wild? Or will ordering a FE delay you anyways to 2022? Just curious if anyone knows. I contacted my dealer to inquire about it, but have yet to hear back.

I would call Ford customer service. I have a feeling some dealers might not give you the correct information.

The impression given via Ford marketing was that the reservation guaranteed your place in line. Your FE guarantees you an FE should you want it. Orders can be changed up until a VIN is issued. This top situation also gave a date of 08-APR. All that being said, if you switch your OBX back to an FE by 08-APR you should be all set for your FE.

The only true way to find out is to call your dealer and/or Ford Customer Care.
