Not an expert here but I hate to say I do not think a 2 door will have anything close to a 5K tow rating. Hope I am wrong but....I am unfortunately thinking 4 door because of tow ratings.
I hope you are wrong too. A Simple Uhaul car dolly and a midsize car pushes close to the bottom..

2.7 because I miss my 3.0ltt 135i bmw. Hearing those turbo spool is a nice sound when I was pushing 18+psi was like hearing a jet take off LOL. Curious how it sounds in an offroad application.

2.7L for sure. Coming from a 3.5L F-150 EB, dropping to a i4 is too much, love the power I have now, and hope the 2.7 can deliver, and with a tune, I'm sure 370+ whp will be plenty!
Also getting the 10 speed auto. Manual would be fun...for a while anyway

2 door jeeps have a tow rating of 2000 pounds. I think Ford can beat that, seeing that the wheelbase will be slightly longer and it’ll be 6 lug vs the 5 on the Jeep. But if you’re going to tow a lot, get the 2.7. The more power, the better.

Don’t expect a great sound from the 2.7 ecoboost. Big difference between a BMW Inline 6 and a Ford V6 ecoboost. I wish they made better sound but they don’t. Nothing can compare to an Inline 6 turbo sound wise when talking about 6 cylinders in my opinion.

2.7 for me - While even the 2.3 would be an upgrade over my non EcoBoost 3.5L Flex, the 2.7 is still a downgrade from my Mustang's 5.0.

So more standard power and more potential for additional power if ya know what I mean ;)

Like most, I’d like the 2.7. But I think for my needs, I can get away with the 2.3. I plan on getting a 2 door and don’t plan on towing with it.

Good input! Never really had a v6 eco to compare.

I voted 2.3l since thats likely what I'll need to say with my decided budget. If the 2.7 is within $2k and not tied to a higher package/trim than I will definitely go that route.

With that said, the 2.3 hp/tq figures already match what the V8 in my Lexus is putting out, and I loved the engine in my Mustang

2.7 for sure for me. The bigger the better. I drive with a heavy foot and the 0 to 45, stop light to city speed limit time is important to me.

I also want 35" tires so the more powerful engine should help with that.
What axle ratio is best for city driving on 35" tires?

My Subaru BRZ is a lot of fun to drive (corners at speed are the best!),
but the little non-turbo flat four 200hp engine is my least favorite part.

The stick shift in the BRZ is satisfying since you can stay in a gear much longer than an auto would allow, which helps offset the lower hp of the engine. So I plan on getting a stick in the Bronco (if available) just for the fun factor.

I will probably get the 4 door for the extra dog carrying space and better tow rating so the bigger engine would help there as well.

Likely the 4 door for the ability to sleep inside when camping.
Will depend on interior dimensions though, if the 4 door doesn't allow enough space to stretch out comfortably than I will go with the 2 door

2.7 in a 4 dr. for tow ratings and the ten speed automatic
Need to see the gear ratios combined with tire size and rear gear
A buddy has a 7.3 gas in a 250 that gets better mileage in 8th than 10th
The 2.3 in a 2dr.with a manual would be some fun tho
