I transferred my reservation to an order on 2-10-21 with the dealer and never received a confirmation email from Ford.

Logging into the Ford portal my profile still says the I am "In Progress" and in "Step #1 - Reservation".
I've called the dealership (not local) twice and they claim the order has been placed on their end.

Can anyone confirm if this is how my Profile on Ford should look or if something has gone wrong along the way.

My gut feeling... My dealer if waiting to submit my order after the March 19th deadline to attempt to move my 13/7/20 (14th with time zone) reservation behind her "preferred customers" as she has previously dodged questions regarding to how many reservations her dealership has received and where mine slots in claiming "there are a lot of loyal customers who has reservations and we currently have only 4 allocations".

There are several threads about this already, but when the dealer puts the order in the system and performs the batch processing, this will change in your account. For instance, I went in on the 31st of Jan to perform my order entry, but the dealership processes all orders on Mondays with a different employee who doesnt work Sundays. Sure enough, my account didnt change till about 9am Monday morning to "In-Store Order".

Btw, even an order Priority Code 99 will show this "In-Store Order" on your account.

This is not how allocation/ordering works, and it's worth mentioning this to the dealer if you think they are trying to get cute.

Converting your order after the deadline will block it out from first quarter builds... but not for the full MY21. If they are only thinking they are getting 4 allocations, that's basically just the 1 bronco delivery they'll have. As long as there is a single reservation holder in front of you at the dealer, delaying your conversion will have zero effect.

Additionally, by not converting your reservation by the deadline, they will be hurting their actual allocation once it's calculated. They could actually be denying one of their preferred customers a Bronco instead of insuring it.

Sorry about your situation.

Sorry buddy, I really feel for you, there is a lot of confusion and issues with the ordering process, I wish there was a better way for this.

Perhaps I give them the benefit of the doubt and try and contact Ford to see if there is an issue on their end, and if not see what they suggest I do.

Yeah, basically the thing you and they need to know is that actually allocation has not been calculated yet... the dealerships were only supplied with estimates based on Ford's guess at production and how many orders a dealer will probably get.

Basically, the more orders a dealer converts, the more Bronco's they will receive (up until production capacity is reached)... the fewer they convert, the fewer broncos they will receive.

Even if a Dealership wanted to prioritize broncos for their "loyal" customers, they should still be converting as many orders as they can.

Artificially limiting their orders will only work to reduce how many they will get.

I recieved a vehicle purchase agreement only. I'll be asking them for a DORA now and see what they say! Thanks for the tip!

Congrats!!!!

That incongruity in your Ford.com account is a well-documented bug and nothing to worry about.... assuming you have reason to believe it is in fact wrong.

The order summary from your dealer is what you should go by... that reflects what's actually entered as an order.

Mine is doing the same thing, original reservation was a 2 door black diamond but I ordered a Badlands 4 door w/ Sasq and it has updated, just the image is still incorrect. I called Ford.ca to confirm with my order number and everything is good on their end, I am just trying to get a dealer confirmation printout now through my contact.
