@Tricky Nick, my grandparents had a place out there for a long time. I spent many summers at the club growing up. I have fond memories of fishing with my grandpa.

I lived there out of college with the Trotter brothers while working in Morris for a couple years only, but had great times, boating and fishing, even ice fishing.

Question that maybe someone in here can answer. I will be opting for a 22MY and thinking about switching to Granger to get the better deal (right now my reservation is with Rod Baker who is doing MSRP, or also thinking of switching to Packey Webb with the Lifetime PT Warranty). My only concern is, will going to Granger, a dealership that will have a lot of 22's coming through them, will it delay me getting the vehicle more or would it solely be determined by the order that they are built by Ford?

Also, not sure about everyone else, but getting these 2" of snow every other day is making the wait for the Bronco even worse:(

When you get your 22MY would be determined by a couple of factors. Commodity constraints in 22, your timestamp on your reservation relative to others at Granger, and however Ford is doing allocation since they said they will change it from 21MY.

My time stamp is 10 minutes after the system opened up. But I am ordering 2 dr badlands, optional wheels, 2.7, lux so I expect I will not be in the first wave of deliveries but still MY21 (unless Ford screws up more). I was told I was #4 at Granger.
Lucky you on being number 4! I moved my reservation to Grangers with an email stamped 07-13 @ 1159 pm....which translate to 0400ish hours of the 14th per UTC! I'm hoping soon to convert to an order!!

I switched to Granger from Rod Baker as well. Glad I made the change. Granger was great to work with.
Did you talk with Rod Baker at all? Any deals or just confirmed MSRP? I finally got the email from them this week to place the order. I'm just in the situation where I will be deferring to MY22 so I'm not sure if I should transfer dealerships now or wait until prior to placing the order for MY22 (September/October?)

They had confirmed MSRP with no mark up. I was shopping around and when I asked about any other deals and compared offers from Granger and others it was radio silence from them.

Good people there, but I was shopping around for the best deal.

Same here, looking for the best deal. I just don't know how bad the logistics would be if I switch to Granger considering I'll be doing a trade-in (good benefit would be driving the trade-in out there and leaving in the Bronc haha). Still on the fence about that and Packey Webb to at least get PT warranty and more local. $1300 off at Granger, right?

Also, for those that switched to Granger, are you concerned at all about getting it serviced at a dealer around here that you did not purchase at? Possible up tick in maintenance from not purchasing through them?

Also, anyone have any clue if getting insurance on the car right away would be an issue since buying out of state? Do you have to have Illinois temp plates for the vehicle immediately?

The wife liked the idea of saving $1,300 off invoice, which was just over double that off MSRP, so she is on board for going out of state for the deal. With her on board, we are planning to make a 2-3 day get away trip out of picking it up (I know, get away in IA??, but Galena and a couple other areas along the river to explore could be good, camping or hotel), but since we are not trading in, she will be driving separately on way back. No concerns on getting it serviced at a Ford dealership locally, except for the one or two that have not been honest to me or others as referenced in this thread. Packey Webb was honest when I spoke to them on pricing, and warranty offerings being included is valuable. I would have much preferred to keep business local, like with Manning in DeKalb, but I went with the best deal I could get at the time.
