Not true, they actually all have VIN on them for documentation/paperwork and proper registration trail for tracking purpose. How’s Ford going to prove to the DMV that each and everyone is accounted for when they junk them?

Just because there wouldn't be a 17-digit VIN doesn't mean that there wouldn't be serial numbers of some sort.

Ford usually uses VINs on preproduction cars but in the last seven digits of the VIN (the serial number portion) there's usually a PP, indicating preproduction.

Why doe everyone assume the first one's will be crushed? Isn't it possible they will be sent to dealers to display accessories on? They have already crash tested a bunch and are done with that phase.

Since some of these were used for epa fuel economy testing, doesn’t anyone have an idea of when we’ll see epa mpg numbers? Or will we have to wait till June when the first production vehicles finally roll of the assembly line?

Just finalized my build. Ended up with a 4 door outer banks. Black. With same colour roof. And sound deadening liner. Also opted for the two tone black and brown leather/vinyl. This is so exciting. Should arrive june/July in Toronto.

We've seen so many pics of Broncos being built. But if Ford isn't starting production until May (once they have everyone's orders), then what is the intent of making them now AND... if they match up to people's converted orders now, then why not start handing them out to consumers?

They're being built to prove out the line, adjust processes, finish up all the required testing, etc. Then they'll all be crushed.
