I was getting frustrated with the lack of communication coming from Mike Naughton (now Schomp) and was thinking it was time to make a change. Then they finally sent me an email and the letter started off as "Dear Lewis," and, being my name isn't Lewis, this was the final straw. I moved my reservation over to Phil Long and am very happy I did. They took my order immediately and as a bonus they aren't charging the $1,000 deposit either.

I just spoke with Javier over there. Seems like they inherited a pretty big mess from the old crew. He confirmed they are selling at MSRP, but he didn't have much more info. They do not have a Bronco Specialist, not sure that matters considering I trust this forum more than a dealer specialist.

Been with Phil Long since my reservation on Day 2 and have received numerous emails and calls throughout the whole process and never once was an additional deposit ever mentioned, even as I placed my order. They have been fantastic!!!

Did they add any Dealer Fee? Did you pay a $2000 deposit or were you able to talk out of it?

@TApache11 sorry for the delay in responding. They didn't add a dealer fee or mark-up and I did pay the $2000. I put it on my Bronco credit card so I will get 5% back that I can apply to the cost of my Bronco at time of delivery. I hate the negotiation part and will admit to being bad at it.

I just looked up the Bronco (Ford Pass Reward) Visa you mentioned. It def seems like a good option to build points for future purchases or service at Ford dealerships. Lots of perks....thanks for the info!

I’m near Golden. Buying from Granger. I had a day-1 reservation with Larry H Miller, but canceled that one and made a new one at Granger. I did it that way rather than transferring because at the time, I wanted to guarantee my position as a 2022 model year.

LHM Ford did call me though to place my order, not realizing I had canceled. I had talked to them in the past a couple times. They already reached out to me when Ford announced they would not offer X plan pricing on the Bronco. LHM was offering $1000 below MSRP for X plan people, but with their fees (additional to D&H), I wouldn’t be doing any better than what Phil Long or Mike Naughton quoted me as they’re selling at MSRP. They tried to get me to order anyway, saying they had allocations available. I think it means they have some reservations that they know are not getting converted that they can grab ahold of. Sales guy tried to woo me with a First Edition saying they had an available slot for one. I made it clear I wasn’t interested and he was courteous and that was that. This was all on the first day the order banks opened.

Anyway, waiting for MY22. Want to see what Warthog is all about. Not 100% sure I’ll be getting a Bronco anyway. Probably getting a new truck instead...

@RFMETZ sorry just saw this, nothing yet but they are looking into the Costco deal since they are part of the Costco Car program and per Costco have to honor it with any new vehicle purchase

any Costco discounts??
