I've been following this for the past day now and figured I pose the question. Lay it out in simple terms to see if it can be answered.

Dealer A starts with 60 reservations. Initial allocation we'll set at 33%. So initial allocation is 20.

Dealer A then becomes the new Bronco6G whore 😁 (meant in a nice way of course) and goes from 60 reservations up to 300. We'll assume they all convert to order.

Now, when new allocations come out, does this number stay at 33% or bump to 50%? And is it still considered a MY21 allocation?
33% = 100 allocations. 50% = 150 allocations.
Either way though, jumping from 20 original allocations up to 100 or 150 is what I would consider a sizable jump.

Is any of my statement possibly correct?

**A note from the creator of this post: (EvlNvrDys) : the use of certain words stated above are in no way meant to shame, they do not signify any one individual and are purely meant for entertainment purposes.
I was considering a similar situation.... The initial 'estimated allocation' may be irrelevant come March 19.
As an example, 'Dealer A' starting with 68 reservations and being allocated 20 (30%), vs 'Dealer B' starting with 300 reservations and being allocated 90.

Then along comes the March 19 deadline, and 'Dealer A', offering a great deal, now has 300 reservations. And 'Dealer B' , sticking to MSRP and possibly giving poor service, has 'filled' his allocation of 90, but lost his remaining 210 reservations due to cancellations or transfers.

Now it's April and Ford releases the final allocation..... I'll assume 'Dealer A' drastically increases his allocation, while 'Dealer B's ' allocation is drastically reduced..... possibly not even enough to cover those orders he promised customers he had allocation for.
Is this a likely scenario?

Yes, and he should have never made promises based on an estimated allocation.

Your ignorance is showing so I'll say it plainly:

Dealers are allocated 100% of their FE orders.

FE is the only exception to the rule of the dealer allocation formula. I would hope a dealer would know this at least.

THAT is how things stand today. Your mileage will not vary because this is how it is!
Okay, I see you are the one with all the correct information. Thank God, the rest of us are still learning. Let's see how this comment ages.

I see you’re in Northern Virginia. What dealer? How many reservations do you hold, how many are converted, and what is your estimated allocation? What is your pricing plan?

Mr. Fralin, I noticed the concern you voiced yesterday in Tom’s thread regarding “misinformation” circulating about FE transfers. 🙄

That reminded me of Borat, seeking cultural learnings of America for make benefit glorious nation of Kazakhstan. 😂 I also noticed the responses you received from the B6G peasants. Currently, my money’s on the peasants. ;)

Question: When are you going to start a Cowles Parkway Ford thread?
Interestingly, Tom and I had a respectful adult conversation. I have no units available to sell and don't need additional 2022 allocation. Stay tuned for that thread...I hope you have a while. Why all the venom, BTW?

Estimated allocation of 44, reservations in the 200's, MSRP on those 44 (most are converted already).

Where in the allocation formula does “original estimated allocation” factor in? They must have changed the formula since it was released for your statement to be true.

While it is true that a dealer who had a huge number of reservations before the estimate like Granger won’t get a big change, a dealer who had very few reservations and after the estimate is released gets a ton of them...will have a radical change in their allocation.
The only thing I would add to this is those have to be early reservations transferring to impact initial allocation.

Just finished placing my order with Tom and his team at Chapman Ford. Quick, painless, professional and super friendly. Can't wait to put the Lux package to good use driving home while eating a cheesesteak. Thankful Ford made the washout interior an option.
Saw your Avatar and thought "Who hijacked my account!!" :) :)
