After getting no confirmation email from Ford or anything besides a hand written purchase order from my dealership, I got onto my Ford account this morning and saw this.

Still no confirmation email from Ford. What exactly does In-Store Order mean?

I ordered on Jan 20th and mine still says in progress, I never did get an email from Ford

I ordered on Jan 20th and mine still says in progress, I never did get an email from Ford
You guys should get an email from ford I ordered in store on the 20th afternoon and bye night I had a confirmation email from ford keep checking or call customer care I’m sure everything is fine

I believe it means your reservation has been move to the order system and you need to contact your dealer to actually work out the order.

or if you worked out your order with the dealer, it may not be keyed in yet.

You guys should get an email from ford I ordered in store on the 20th afternoon and bye night I had a confirmation email from ford keep checking or call customer care I’m sure everything is fine
I was in the dealership Wednesday afternoon and haven't gotten anything yet. I still haven't even seen an order sheet with the options I chose. My dealer is clearly behind.

@Tmurder1776 some ppl got their confirmation right away or a few hours later. I got mine 4 days later give Ford a call 1800-334-4375 they will verify that they have your order to give you a peace of mind

Well... that's just great.... I'll be calling the GM on Monday. Hopefully this gets fixed before then. Otherwise I'm gonna be fairly upset considering I already paid my deposit.

Double-u tee eff? I just logged into my My Ford and it says that my reservation is now an In-Store order from the 20th. I didn't do anything on the 20th, in fact my dealer didn't even call me until the 23rd and I made an appointment for tomorrow afternoon. They better not have screwed this up!

In-Store order is what it says when your Dealer submits your order into the system.

There are a few threads on people not receiving confirmation emails, but you mention that your dealer provided you with something... you can request the actual build sheet... but to me it looks like your dealer did exactly what you wanted them to... which was submit an order?

But yeah, reach out to your dealer and request a copy of your build sheet.

The systems that link the ordering program the dealers use, and your Ford.com profile, are separate... There are well documented cases on the forum of Ford.com profiles not updating correctly (or at all) initially.

I was one of the ones who had an order submitted without my knowledge on the 20th of Jan, for a Bronco I never would have optioned out that way, and Ford sent me a confirmation email of that which is how I found out in the first place. So since then I've visited my dealership in person, 3 days ago. I had them resubmit the order with the options I actually wanted. They gave me a printout of the order sheet they supposedly submitted, but I haven't yet gotten a new confirmation email from Ford and the order listed in my account on Ford.com is still the first order that was submitted without my consent. What should be the next step? Calling the Ford hotline number and asking them on Monday? I called my dealer today and they said it's "been submitted" but I have to just go on their word about that I suppose. It'd be nice to get a confirmation from Ford.

They did NOT provide the build sheet. I only have a hand written purchase agreement for the dealership. But the purchase agreement only covers the price, not any options or anything like that. I did send an email to my salesman, but he simply said he did not have anything at this time. I'm keeping an eye on it, but for sure the dealership will get a call from me as soon as I can call them to find out what's going on.
