Hi guys! I'm in South Florida and spoke to my dealer about conversion. Taking a hard line, given the long list of current reservation holders, popularity, etc., and claiming it's sticker or nothing. Have never paid sticker, but also have never ordered a super sought after car before. They have dealer fee of course, but are even tacking on a $249 coating lol. The salesmen did not laugh with me. He claimed to have ordered his own Bronco and paid it himself and said they were not budging on sticker. And I know salesman talk, and this wasn't that. Soo--my question. Is anyone having luck dealing? I called another dealer about moving reservation and they said I'd fall behind their other reservations there no matter my timestamp. Thanks in advance!

Are you asking if we’re finding better deals at any dealer or luck haggling with dealers? Haggling? I don’t know. Better deals, yes. No add ons, fees or nonsense or ADM. Search the forum, there’s lists with all the dealers anyone has dealt with.

No constructive advice, sorry, however... on a positive note (perspective is everything in life), better you find out now than when you arrive to pick up your truck and are stuck.

I think there are some deals out there, but those all come with long lines of people who may not get a MY21.

My dealer advertised MSRP and left wiggle room when I placed the order.

I am at the front of the line for the allocations they have, so I am pleased with my deal overall.

If I remember correctly, I thought there was a Florida deal below MSRP, maybe even invoice, but you'll have to search the forum for that one.

On a side note, off course the salesman ordered his Bronco already... What do employees get? A plan? Way better than MSRP and x-plan. So only makes sense he'd order it.

Most all of the dealers in Texas are at MSRP. There is a group buy here that has a deal at below invoice but with that comes a long line of day 1 reservations so the increased chance of not getting a MY21 Bronco. If I were you I would shop elsewhere to avoid “forced” options.

All I can say is do your homework if you want a deal. I called many local dealers until I found one willing to match the Granger/Stephans deal and their only a hour away from me. Most dealers laughed at me when I asked them if they would duplicate the $1000 under invoice. But I've been in sales all my life so getting a no didn't detour me and only drove me harder. I'm purchasing two FE's so $1k under invoice saved me around $3k per Bronco. A couple hours of calling dealers was well worth the $6000 savings in my book. To all the the dealerships that laughed at me " Who laughs last laughs Best". LOL

I have a long winded post in another thread that I can link you if you really want. But my local dealership who I've done over a decade of business with, have a fleet account, x-plan, service all our vehicles... won't go a penny below MSRP. Even for me.

Remember, for the time being at least, the argument that it’s a “high demand” vehicle - so therefor it warrants markup - is bologna.

We all have reservations... these Broncos are earmarked for us specifically by name... that’s *your* Bronco that you can bring to any dealer you want.

It’s not like it’s a Bronco sitting on the lot and if you refuse to pay MSRP or markup, the dealer can just turn around and sell it to the next guy. (Unless you wait until it’s delivered to walkaway.)

If you feel like haggling you can point that out. If they would rather forfeit the sale altogether, including your allocated Bronco, just because they aren’t getting as much profit... that’s on them (but a stupid move if you ask me). They will still have plenty of customers that don’t realize you can shop around dealers or understand how allocation works.

Because you have a reservation, you actually hold all the cards. You have two things the dealer wants, your money *and* the allocated Bronco to sell.

No dealing, paid straight MSRP. I have never paid full price for anything and usually get something tossed in like an accessory to sweeten the deal. With the allocations so tight, all the other issues....I was just wanting to get the order correct and "IN". And then hope I get it in 2021. It is probably the last new vehicle I get so....what the heck.

I've told myself since July 13th that I would be ok paying MSRP for a high demand vehicle with this kind of hype. That being said, I'm still trying to work my dealer down to invoice, but if they dig their feet in firmly, I'll still pay MSRP. I have in writing that there is no ADM or dealer add-ons and the doc fee is reasonable.

I've never paid sticker price either, but I am for this rig. I figure a discounted amount is only a couple thousand dollars, and that's not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, so although it kinda chaps me to pay sticker, it's alright.
