I've seen the video clips of the hose rinsing out the washout floors, which makes me wonder... Can I "washout" the entire interior? Dash? Doors? Display? Glove Box? Can I drive through the carwash with the top off? I'm really curious.

My guess would be no... I think Ford is intending it to be a low pressure (garden hose) wash that doesn't spray everywhere and you mainly hit the big items like seats and floors and the rest will require more finesse.

Apparently they designed the dash to survive a downpour. Dunno if it can survive a hose horizontally

The hero switches and apparently the whole dashboard are meant to be fine if it gets rained on. Pressurized water is probably not okay. I'm curious if the air vents are designed to drain water though.

All the buttons and switches are rubberized&sealed. Screen is waterproof too, but I wouldn’t go nuts with a pressure washer or anything.
Personally I’d keep the hosing to the floor only and use a wet rag to clean seats&dash and such

I probably wouldn't get the back of the rear seats in the cargo area with a water hose.
As they are carpet.

I imagine if the seats were down flat the water would soak through the carpet and into the cushions of the seat backs.

For me I could stand a little bit of rain, maybe some muddy shoes. But if you're planning to go muddin' in this and just wash out the whole car I would say don't do it. Or go muddin' with the doors and roof on problem solved.

I think we use the “reasonable person” measure here. Dash is said to be built to survive a downpour, but notice how much it hangs over the gauge cluster. Don’t think that unit will like getting shot with a garden hose.

Quickly spray out your floors and your seats if needed but don’t expect to be hosing off gauge cluster dust with your Kranzle pressure washer.

This.

Reason is hard to find sometimes.

Basically... Its a last resort thing. If you need to hose down, do it with discretion.

Don't plan to bog, doors off, and think you'll just flood the thing to clean it out when you're done.

It's still a truck... Not a boat. Use that common sense.
