Build & Price Updated: Auto No Longer Free For Mid-Level Trim + Other Changes

Agreed. While I never thought the AT would be free with a mid package, I did think the AT would be standard on the base at the $33,200 base price. There is no justification for the increase whatsoever if it holds. There was never a transmission option on the 4dr base. And now they want $40K for a base 4dr? No thanks.

But even their pricing guide that they published had the auto standard with Mid Package. So this is a major change with l their published materials.

How many of you just did this today? Jeep is putting mad money on the hood to lure us away. Ford was hoping to B&P update in January to keep the end of year cash on the hood from competition from converting some away.

I'm not buying a Jeep, but wow, close to $9k on the hood. Goes to show you how much money Ford plans to print with the Bronco. There are 921 Wrangler Rubicons within 200 miles of me. Maybe Jeep, their 4xe, and Hemi teams also avoided the whole Covid catastrophe.

Reminds me of my favorite business saying: "Pigs get fat, Hogs get slaughtered."

Competiton between these two brands will be fierce in two years. I believe I've been forced out since my MY22 build has to enter under this MY21 crazy crap show.

I'm still holding my Reservation in hopes that leadership at Ford is reorganised by the Board based on what we've seen here.

The Gladiator that I'd aimed at would now be about 12,500 less than by BD build!! Is THAT enough to rebuild a front suspension?

And now, just playing the options, I can have a BB with Squatch for just over my BD build. Would hate to give up the MGV....and the BL is still WAY out of range........

My Big Bend with SAS and 2.3L with auto trans...just went up $2190! That might just push me somewhere else Ford Motor Company. Guess they have to pay for the money they are putting in our Ford Pass accounts...THANKS!

I think Ford has figured this pretty well. Most people bitching aren't really going to give up their reservation. We're just not willing to "give up" something we think we have. None of us really have a Bronco, just a promise (reservation) that Ford will build a vehicle that we'll pay (an increase) for.

Many buyers don't frequent the site, and many won't sweat the price increase, if they even notice it at all.

Ford can do whatever they want. They are going to sell every one they can build. So, they know that the price increase won't really impact units sold. Although it may not increase the margin, it'll certainly increase the overall profit. Ford knows we're not going anywhere.

Was starting to lean towards the 2.7L and auto for $1,895. Won’t pay the extra $1,495 for auto. Can’t believe Ford took so long to finally fix the prices on build and price.

Guys something isn’t right with the B&P on the math. If you select a 2dr base and add squatch it’s $5,790 and adds auto. It’s around $35k if you add the roof rails it shows the option at $365 but adds like $3,500 to the total vehicle price. It’s not adding up...literally.

I was never good at math......and why my wallets a little too light.

It just went back to $7,385 again, but you're right - for like five minutes, it was $8,900. It changed while I was literally adding it to my build.

My BD build just jumped up by $2,200 from @42,900 to 45,115 ? 4 door 2.3 10 speed, mid pkg and towing. Come on man. I’d drop to base if I could get Cyber Orange with a decent color interior/ heated seats/ emergency braking.

Even on the Badlands, the $300 automatic tranny is no longer an option. Going up to 2.7 L is not $1900. It’s $3500 because the 2.7 is not permitted with the manual tranny, and you’re now charging a la carte for the automatic.

Ford - you let this previously better pricing exist on the website for how many months?
