What is so custom? You can't really get to custom with the options and packages available at the moment. Oooh, this SAS with lux package is so custom. :rolleyes: Get over yourself mister flannel pants.

What did you learn about allocations that make you feel better about things?
That video. LSS - a) orders built before stock are built and b) the allocations are a ratio/round robin (not counting the uncontrollable parts supply issues) idea to meter out the machines throughout the country.

Sorry everyone but as someone who comes up with complicated algorithms for a living, I'd bet my down payment that their's is "let's see what comes in for orders and make it up as we go"
Likely some form of multi-variate structured equation modeling accounting for measurable but not necessarily controllable exogenous variables.

Ford is clearly using the Bronco Nation as an arm of the Marketing department and I don't think that's a good thing.
Funny, Tesla fires all its marketing types as unneeded expense. Ford invests in flannel wearing internet forums in addition to standard marketing. We can guess which approach is most likely better for the bottom line.

I can change my order up until March? My dealer will hate me by February!​

orders come in, close in March, algorithm runs and they figure out the schedule based on production efficiency. Seems straight forward to me.​

A) product manager Esteban dude reaffirmed that all Of the ordered Broncos will be prioritized for reservees.

B) that the allocations are essentially a ratio of the order in which dealers start whittling down their reservation list. Reach dealer, roughly speaking, will possibly get an equal percentage of their reservation list at a certain place. Obviously it won't be fully equal because math doesn't work like that but roughly speaking of will be like that...ISH anyway.

I feel way better about it now than I have been. Still traded an"earlier" reservation for $$$ but that gives me a bit more time to come up with down payment and build my "rainy day fund" some (maybe/sorta/kinda/depends on the Govt).
