The Santa Mountains are great for testing. Many roads are 1.5 lanes, many twistes and ups/ downs. Give me time in 4l adjusting to the MT 88 gearing. And the very good steering of a 2dr… no rock stripes yet.

Did pissoff two guys on bicycles wanting to go faster than me while I was in low gears. lol

My wife spotted a TWO-Door die-cast Bronco in CVS and said we need this.
They did not have ANY More-doors for sale, only TWO-Doors.
It's cute and the doors open, both of them, all Two OF THEM, and only TWO, just TWO...!!!

Unless you wanna ride the green access trails all day, and you can! My first time there we weren't prepared for the size of the place, and the one guy with a honda buggy That topped out at about 8 Miles an hour wound out at 4000rpm, with a 3 gallon fuel cell... Had to fill him up twice, and took 3 hours to get across the place, Yes, it's that freakin big!

But when you know these things, and are prepared for it, it's worth it!

Spring road trip to zion and great basin

I was out there last spring. Great place for stargazing. Also some off-road trails in the area.

We want to go back to Great basin. Everything above upper Lehman cave campground was still closed due to snow, and the caves were closed for renovations, but we were able to get out and hike around a bit. I would like to camp wheeler peak campground when it does open for the season.

and the hard top can come off which is cool. Just some quick mod to the inside to cut some plastic nibs.

the peak was also closed when I was there in May. But the caves were open so did that tour and some hiking and some driving. Camped at upper Lehman creek.
