Hi enjoying all the photos! New owner of the 2021 Bronco Big Bend in Area 51. Yay!!! It’s been 4 weeks. I have been wanting this truck since last year, I came across a pink one Pinterest. Has become my dream truck. The Area 51 is such a beautiful color it reminds me of all the colors of the ocean. I do enjoy the color changes depending on how much sun there is and how it reflects. First day I got her I got the beach sticker to go 4 wheeling and I took my daughter and my mom for a ride on the beach! Took some photos.

What beach is this? Looks like the Outer Banks. Do you have the rear locker? How did it do?

It was a Long Island, NY beach. Quite a few people out that day. The sand was pretty deep I saw one person get stuck. I don’t have the rear locker it certainly would have been a plus going up near the dunes, I imagine. I stayed on the flatter sand as shown in photos. It was a lot of fun actually went out twice on the beach that day it was a gorgeous day! The last time went 4 wheeling was with the ford explorer when the kids were babies so very long ago!

I had a Bronco Sport and loved it for what it is. However, it felt off for some reason.
I owned a 2006 Honda Ridgeline for 10 years and it felt like home. Solid, tough, easy to work on. It was a great combo. It finally started wearing out at 300k miles.
I felt like I might break the BS if I wasn't careful? Everything felt well built but a bit lighter than what I was used to. So I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted.
I found this baby as almost a lateral upgrade in tech: Badlands with the works.
I test drove it and it felt like HOME.
I know this is a bit over the top. However, I rely on my vehicles heavily. I live in the mountains and do stuff you don't normally do in towns.
We get random drops of 2ft of snow over night, with no police or grocery stores for 30 miles.
The room with the modularity of the entire vehicle is what finally sold me! Even better, it's a one owner driver! It runs so good.

I can't help but feel like with my normal work, the BS would be working at the upper end of its capability. Whereas with the Full Size, the truck would just cruise through the same work load.

Have you driven in serious snow with those tires? I looked them up and saw they are 3PMSF rated.

The number of snow reviews on my stock Goodyear RTs are limited and not very positive. We don’t get big snows in my part of VA very often but it does happen. As I’ve said before, it would be pretty embarrassing if I have to leave the Bronco at home and drive the Subaru sedan.

I haven't had snow here yet. I will have to update this winter lol.
They are highly rated for snow. So I hope they work well. I have Chains and Snow Socks just in case.

The snow rating is good for the rubber material right? So basically the compound stays more soft during cold weather, and the channels allow for more grip in snow conditions.

Add the side wall tracking and they should be outstanding as long as the rubber doesn't get super hard. That is why you get into issues with tires in larger sizes. The compound of the rubber has to be designed to stay soft during colder seasons.

Took my Bronco back out on the beach. A Picked up off road traction boards in case ever get stuck. Such a great beach day and she handle great in the deep sand in sand mode and 4 wheel drive low. Sooo love this Bronco. Got to see parts of the beach and high dunes far down the beach that I have not seen in a very long time. The only Bronco there! We had tons of fun. The new car excitement has not faded! With the tops down always smiling even the dogs love the wind blowing through their fur.

Years late to this thread but pleased to have found it!
Sure Area 51 is a popular color. At one point it was fairly fresh.
No matter. I still love it.
I am pleased to say these are actual work locations.
Our 6G spends roughly 50% of its time in a variety of bonafide 4WD terrain and earns its gas!

Enjoy and have a great day all!

Ha
Film. The 6G helps deliver us to winter and summer action sports, architecture, and an espionage film on the current slate. Our 6G has ridden out flash floods, blizzards, avalanches, quick sand, mud slides, snakes, scorpions, Huntsman-Fiddler-Black Widow Spiders.

Humans have shot at us quite a few times, so there's that...
It is a blissfully 6G powered Job.

After almost three years, I finally got the tires and lift I had been planning for.
BFG 285/75 18 on the stock wheels, 2 inch ReadyLift. It grew about 4 inches.

I love it. Drives as good as ever, but I love the new height and stance. It was a long time coming, and I got good use out of the factory tires, but I'm glad they are gone
