I thought the everglades was discontinued in 2024 and this was a 2025 colour?

Everglades was the first trim to get Desert sand in 2022. 2025 is the first it’s available on other trims

I need to see one of these in person, but it just seems so washed out compared to the Toyota "sand" color to me. I remember wishing I could have found a TRD Pro in 2016 when I got my first 4runner (which was black) in this color...

now that is ugggly

What up fellow Desert Sand Owners! I’m Justin, based out of Alberta Canada.

Here’s a few photos of my new 2025 Big Bend. Gotta say, I love this color way more than I expected I would.

It’s currently stock, besides the side steps, mudflaps, Toyo Winter Tires and some cosmetics. Lots planned for this awesome machine.

Looks great! Did you swap a wildtrak grill or have your original grill repainted. Im trying to figure which option to do myself.

Thanks!! That grill came standard on my Big Bend with Black appearance package. I wasn't really sure what all that entailed but I'm super happy with it.
I got the black overlay letters from Amazon.

I added a few more things - put on some tint stickers on the orange sidemarkers and the clear horizontal lights in the grill. I didn't like those horizontal lights with the blackout grill. Now its just the round headlights. And then tube doors are awesome but off now for the winter - back to full doors and hardtop. Final (?) exterior mod are the mini stripes.
