I installed this and don't recommend it at all. These switches illuminate and allow power to connected accessories with ignition off. Meaning if don't turn it off, you can drain your battery. I thought I had made a mistake in the wiring but confirmed this is intended design from Ford engineering
I kinda like that feature. There have been times when I wanted to use an AUX and didn’t really want the ignition on.

Does anyone know if the 25's are pre-wired for the switches or would you have to do all the wiring as well when adding this?

Did this kit come with instructions? I could not find any online, just trying to understand why one would go with this kit than going the extra mile with the six switch option.

Yes, though all pictures and no words with some details wrong. I happen to be a professional procedure and work instruction writer and I would fail these if someone submitted them to me.

I was about to ask the same question. I installed the switchbox from F150LEDs.com on Saturday and found all of the upfitter wires bundled together. If it was all pre-wired all the way to the space behind the sunglass holder, I'd buy the upfitter kit. I guess I could take mine out and look lol.

Thanks, Let us know if you find out. It might change a few minds on this.

I know my big bend was not because I ran the harness from the Ford performance kit. I've seen other places that 2025 is the first year that they didn't include this harness regardless of the switches.

So I haven't paid attention to recent MY AUX switches from the factory, but do they really only have 4 switches?
Factory option on my 25 Heritage is 6 switches. The unit above has a blanking plate on the last 2. My guess is that the post factory option install does not include the two curcuits that run to the rear of the vehicle.

They'll be there. That's a different harness. There are 6 leads (of different ratings)in my big bend without factory installed switches and like in @602North pic. I just have limited switches available to connect to. I think in an earlier part of the thread I made a statement about the wires behind the lights in the overhead thinking the person was asking about the factory harness for the aux switches themselves. As if it was just the switches themselves missing from vehicle and not thinking about the fact that one of the aux items leads runs up there for convenience.

@granieaj thanks for the info. I was surprised when I saw them. New to Bronco and learning what I can. So do you know if the wires I posted are AUX switch wires and could I just add the aux switch kit as plug and play (harness is already behind the sunglass storage)?

All Broncos have the engine compartment harness prewired. They do not have the interior pillar/switch harness installed. The fuse box also needs to be replaced. I guess they still include the engine prewiring since it is the main vehicle harness and having two part numbers for something as minor as switches does not make sense. I cannot come up with a good reason of going this route vs the Hanspilot style upfitter switches. OEM quality, relatively easy install and 6 30amp circuits that you can put smaller fuses in if necessary. All for $320.

Fast Eddie beat me to it. See this thread for the wires to the various areas of the bronco. You'll have this regardless of the OEM aux switches.

But to answer the other part of your question, this kit provides the switches (4 switch panel) and harness from the battery to the new switch panel in the overhead to replace the sunglasses holder. I went this route and don't recommend it primarily because there is no fuse tap and these switches and their connections stay powered in the on position even with the ignition off.
