Decided to get the car clean before I took to the main channels.

Installed this weekend took about 7-8 hours to get it buttoned up. I think you could very easily have it done in 5-6 hours.

2.5" vrst Procomp coilovers via Boss 4x4 and Upper Control arms of the same brand from eBay. Went with the dropping of the LCA method.

Did not do measurements prior to but looked to have gained atleast 3.5 inches over non sas. Next up is 35s to fill it out a bit better and to give a bit more purpose to some existing mods. May back the lift off a bit but will see if it will settle some first.

Previously installed mods include RCI sliders, Ford performance Warn which kit, Dyode Dynamic SS3 pro spots, M&R capable bumper lights, and a hammer built tailgate reinforcement.

How’s the ride? About to do the same on my 21 Black Diamond.

I’ve had Sasquatch takeoffs for the past 40k. Looking forward to a nicer ride hopefully.

Very nice...FWIW it takes me longer to do any install as well as I'm old & detail oriented (mild OCD). Good job w/ the upgrade & time to get 'em dirty during break-in. :D

Nice install

This is about what I got for lift as well with the collars set at minimum lift.

When I first installed I set them about halfway in the recommended adjustment range and was at around 5” over non-SAS. I dropped them down, that was too much for me, but since the adjustment doesn’t affect max droop, it may not have broke the CVs. Still wouldn’t have been good for them at that angle full time though - would have needed a diff drop to go with it.

They did settle about 1/2” after I cycled them a few times down a washboard road, and I did end up re-leveling the front a little bit when I added skid plates and a winch - but still have plenty of adjustment for more lift if I wanted.

I've been overall happy with the ride. I had some badlands takeoffs sitting around for over a year but decided on these instead.

They did a surprisingly good job with all of the added weight I have tossed on at this point.

I’m in the same boat. I had Sasquatch takeoffs installed for the last 42k and had a pair of standard Badlands with SVC collars waiting for my Toyo AT3 to need to be replaced. It’s finally time and with the recall on the Bilsteins I just can’t see myself putting all that effort into installing something that will inevitably fail.

Should have 35's on here at some point in the next week or two as long as the stock wheels allow for me to fit 35x10.5's with the suspension changes. Will provide photos once installed.

The install was not to bad. I lost alot of time sitting around. The most valuable thing you can have on hand is ratcheting wrenches for the top hat on the rear coilovers not a ton of space for access.

The lower bolt on the rear is also a beast but I was able to pretty easily zap it off with my Ryobi battery Impact Gun.

Would recommend doing the rear shock skids when you have it all apart. Kicking myself for skipping that at the time.

They should no problem. I went with 35x11.5 for my next tires. What did you get?

285/75 fit just fine with the Sasquatch takeoffs and that's only 1" smaller in diameter.

I have shock skids already, but they are Valkyrie and at the time I liked the design because they had drain holes - but, they left the rear wide open to get caught on rocks. So, I will likely replace them with Metal Cloak to match my control arm skids this time around.

Edit: looks like Valkyrie are out of business...I wonder why.

Edit 2: I installed the original takeoffs. I was a bit worried that 4 years of grime and rusty bolts might make it a bit more of a pain in the ass...and I am 4 years older! Ha. Thinking of getting the Vevor version of the QuickJack lift...

Settled on the 35x10.5R17 Kenda klever RTs. Huge difference and looking forward to some trail time on them. Bonus pic next to a stock obx.
