This is where I disagree with you and the Horsey. If everyone would just "use the search" (just about every topic regarding Bronco has been discussed before), there will be no new posts, no new members, nobody to fuck with, and no fun. Dead forum. We absolutely need (mods would agree) traffic (revenue), and STUPID questions generate the most traffic (statistically proven). Stupid answers generate even more interest/reactions, so we need more stupid people, asking stupid questions, and wannabe comedians (like me), and The Asshats (like me) to post snarky, offensive, misogynistic, racist (well, maybe not racists) answers.
Stupidity pays the bills!
Fair, I will agree with you there. I do enjoy a good shit show I won’t lie. I think we need a separate area to just let loose on everything. That sounds like fun
Just remember admins, I am still the self declared supreme leader of the galaxy (Bronco6g.com).

You need to put more effort in your posts if you harbor any hopes of joining the exclusive Asshat club. It's a fine balancing act between being totally obnoxious, and cordial, all while avoiding being banned. Thread lightly, try to stay away from guns, religion and politics and do your best to annoy the shit out of "Know it Alls".

I was looking at the BFGoodrich KM3 for my next tire, but I'm currently leaning toward the Firestone Destination MT2. I do a lot of off road driving and want what works best up in the hills. The Firestone is supposed to be a little bit better in snow and ice than the other choices for the two or three days a year when that is likely to make a difference.

If you're just going for looks, go to https://www.tirerack.com/ and look at the pictures. They should have just about everything available.

BFG KO2s are far and away the most popular tire I see on most off-road vehicles (Wranglers, Tacomas, its the BRaptor stock tire, etc). Probably half, or more, of all off roaders I see are running this tire, in size ranges from 30-35++". This isn't as common on just plain pickup trucks, but I do see it on a good bit.

There is an updated KO3, in limited sizes. It's pretty new, so I haven't seen many of those yet, and haven't heard if it's significantly better or worse than the KO2 it replaces. KO2 have a common complaint about the rubber getting hard after around 10,000 miles, and resulting in worse wet-pavement results. I haven't personally owned or driven on them to have an opinion, but I see an ~awful~ lot of this tire out there.

The second most popular tire I see is the Falken Wildpeak AT3W. This has recently been replaced with the AT4W. Probably a quarter of off roaders, and a lot of pickup trucks and SUVs/Subarus run this tire as well. The AT4W has a bit different side wall, I have seen these replacing the AT3Ws out in the wild (as they have stopped making the AT3W). Some people like the 4 better than the 3, some don't. I have a F150 with 4's, and my wife has 3's on her Bronco Sport. I couldn't tell you if there is any significant difference beyond the marketing claims of a better sidewall. Falkens seem to last forever, probably the best wear life of the 3 options here.

The Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT gets a lot of love on these forums - it's a very popular tire for aftermarket Broncos. It's a great all-around tire, the only con anyone can really give it is it does have some weight (it weighs about the same as the Falken Wildpeak AT4W, but is heavier than the KO2 or the stock SAS BFG tires). If I see a Bronco with aftermarket tires, often times it's these Mickeys.

That isn't to say these are the only 3 tires to consider, but they are far and away more popular than other brands. I haven't really seen a ~bad~ brand name tire - if you stick to the brand names, most all of them will be decent, but I do understand it's an investment and you want to make sure you get your money's worth.

I hear the Milestar Patagonia's have weak sidewalls. Maybe steer clear of them if you're romping in some rocks.
I think any major tire manufacture makes a quality tire, Nitto, Toyo, General, Firestone, BFG, Maxxis, Goodyear, Cooper. They are what connect your vehicle to the road, after all.

I have the Firestone MT2's on mine and they've been great through everything. I like em.

Hey what are some 33 or 35 inch tire brands you guys would suggest ? And what are some to definitely stay away from?
I can recommend Toyo AT3's or Falcon Wildpeak AT3's (ran them on my Jeep Wrangler) I went with Toyo's on my Bronco because they are 13 lbs lighter per tire in my size.

All I want in a tire is:
65,000+ mileage tread life.
Improved fuel economy of 10% or more
Very little road noise
Something that will get me through deep mud and sand, but also
Be good at rock crawling
Highly puncture resistant, but thick sidewalls for improved load and rip resistance
Good traction in snow and rain
50 pounds or less
American made
Strong warranty + roadside assistance

And--especially--they have to look "rad!"

I’ll echo the KO2s. I have them on my F250 and absolutely hate them. They are finally getting to the end of their life but I won’t buy another set. They suck when it’s wet out and honestly ride like shit

I think a lot of their popularity comes from having a lighter weight than some others. They also have an awful lot of sizes and load ranges available

I agree there is a million options for them. I also got them for a great deal in 2021 and that’s part of the reason I went with them
