Interesting, I haven't seen that approach in action. It would be a way to get a better seal, by having the window slip into a groove. Although, what happens with a dead battery, can you get out of the vehicle? Hopefully the battery always has a bit of juice left to activate the window.
Just go open the door on any 2005+ Mustang. They all have this feature

And as others had said, with a dead battery, you just gotta pull a bit harder but there's enough flex that it doesn't break anything

On the subject of this interior though...

I like what I'm seeing, other than that automatic shifter. It still makes me uneasy that we haven't gotten any official word on a manual

Also, guess that's a solid "no" for a bench seat/floor mounted shifter option *sigh*

Yes!!! This is exactly what I was hoping for. Simple straight up and down dash and a horizontal screen. Nice clean straight across line like the old EB's and I knew there was going to be some switches up top.

Never thought Id be so excited about a dash. Hell yeah Ford. Details, this is why we stay loyal. 10 out of 10

A handful of self tappers, an old cut up belt and you've got yourself something to grab onto.

Thanks for the info - I'm behind the times. My neighbor has a newer Mustang, I'll have a closer look.

Lack of door window frame should be a nice feature on the new Bronco. I don't particularly like having the door window frame on my TJ and CJ. The new Bronco should have a cleaner look.

It appears that the roof toggle switches might be the same as on the dash (each have six). Maybe indicating that it might detach from the roof when taken off and you can still use those buttons.

Seems a bit tedious to me. I really think the roof will detach right behind the visors and switch panel, so they'll stay stationary with the top removed
