Wanted to see how many rewards points folks were getting on a new Bronco purchase. The information from Ford on the web says the standard amount is 42,000. I only recieved 31,000. Has this happened to you? The dealership is clueless on what to do.

I received 31,000 for new F150 purchase.

I’ve had Ford steal some points awhile back. They just took some away for no reason or explanation. Nowhere near that many though.

I don't know, they dont really owe you anything. Instead of knocking it, appreciate it.

Get a Ford Rewards Visa and never have to pay for maintenance items again. I currently have 73,000 points which is $365. I use that for filters and parts or accessories.

For the OP, the conversion rate is 200 Reward Points to $1. So 42,000 points equals $210 and the 31,000 equals $155. While it may be disappointing, it isn't the travesty that it is implied. FordPass Rewards is on the same scale as a Schrute Buck.

I will say Ford Pass Rewards has come in handy for me. Used for: Multiple Ranger parts, Bronco CV Axles (2 of them, don't ask), aux switches for my kid's Bronco. If you asked me 3 years ago would I use them I'd have probably said maybe. But with my luck, seem to get a lot of use just repairing vehicles.

This is part of the new plan to stop the bleeding from the EV and warranty expenses. I heard after the first of the year they're really going to start cracking down on warranty claims to either make them extremely difficult to get paid (dealer chargebacks) and bring back some of the prior approval programs. It will get to the point where they start burning dealers enough with chargebacks that it will force us to be extremely selective about what we take in.

I have a total of 43,800 pts, but it was the car purchase and the few oil changes and tire rotations.

I am s'posed to receive 31K like you. My dealer screwed something up back in March, so
not in my account yet. I spoke to Ford pass in person, she confirmed 31k.

The dealer told me "you'll get like, 45,000 points for purchasing your new Bronco." I ended up having to call Ford Pass and verifying my VIN - and received 31,000, not the 45k.

I haven't used 'em yet...still thinking about the smartest way to apply them.
