Thanks for sending all the details. How was it to mount up? It looks like it bolts right to the portion of the bumper where the tow hooks would go. I’m guessing you had to cut that plastic bumper pad to the inside of the fog lights?
Thats correct, it bolts to the tow hooks. Super easy. Super minor cutting on the plastic, like half inch by quarter inch. I like this set up because the piping is thicker and looks better than the competitors.

I bought my Bronco on Friday and I took my roof panels off for the first time today. So much fun riding with them off. Can’t wait to take the top off fully for the first time!

swapped intercoolers today, CV Fab. Have ACC so took a couple minutes longer to get the bracket on. Had to open up a hole on the ACC module to align with the CVF bracket.

That’s the difference??? Factory inter cooler looks like Lego!

Added a cross bar into my TRMR so that I could fit my old Front Runner wolfpack case up top. Had previously spent about $250 on it and the quick release brackets, so happy I can get it back up top when I want it there (I use it to carry around most of my offroad kit when I go out on trails).

Took up a lot of space in my road trip to Moab a couple weeks ago and am hitting the road again for a week in Colorado next week. Need my trunk for all our other crap.

A Roam 85L is probably in my future (I think you can fit two of them lengthwise on the TRMR with the space up front for my boards), but this will do for now.

So I have been seeing people adding crossbars that they didn't think they needed as their build progresses. I have a full rack with pack rax still sitting unopened in the garage that I haven't had time installed. I have the opportunity to buy a half rack with pack rax locally for $350, worth jumping at for the spare bars and things? The rack will be to hold at minimum a waterport on one side, tools on the other, a 270 awning I have sitting in the basement and in the future wedge RTT with potentially solar on top of the tent. Super over having the interior packed to the gills on every trip.

I would look at the math. I think the crossbars are around $50 or $60 a piece, plus they charge very high shipping for them (like $50ish for up to the first two and then it scales from there).

I think the half rack has 3 or 4 cross bars in it, so that alone is worth over $200 if you just need the bars. You may be able to sell your 2nd set of pack rax locally also to offset some additional cost.

When I got my TRMR I had no idea how much you would need extra bars as I previously used Front Runner which has wider bars with very little open area.

Yeah kinda where my head was at too, seemed like a cheap way to future proof myself. Appreciate the insight. (y)

Now it's time to get serious:

I completed the intricate and complicated project of creating a Bronco campsite chair.

This chair, after many years of service, had several stop-drilled cracks that were failing and other problems so, ... off to the DIY alteration process with it!!

updated to show improvements to the project. Like we know, the 2-Door gets small inside quickly! 'had to take the chair size down a bit by taking the arms off.
What, I should buy something to sit on??!?? This is more fun.

I'll get to some serious adventure posts soon.......🏔 🏜

Front suspension work again!
Installed some Accutune HD springs on the Fox Coilovers.
it definitely drives different now. Alignment to come tomorrow to verify everything before we head out west and rack up a ton of miles.
Makes even the 37’s look small now!

I tried to install the Ford/Cover King Molle grate system for the tailgate. Man that thing is so janky and the clips didn't even come close to lining up. Back to Ford it goes.

Yes I 3rd the half rack purchase. Better to have on hand then waiting on shipment.
