What did you drive before your Bronco?

I loved the FJ. It was my very favorite vehicle I ever owned. That's saying alot coming from a Corvette guy!!
Dude! I saw this Bronco thing start up in 09. Then SEMA showed one the next year.
As a Chevy guy, i said "ill buy that".
in 2013 still no Bronco. So i bought the FJ I said i would buy back in 06
Here we are in 25. Finally a Bronco!!
Perfect. Now I can focus on LS ing my Fiero!!!

I have always had a Chevrolet, Ford, or Dodge pickup since I started driving in 1977.
In 1985, I bought a Jeep Wrangler has an extra vehicle to take to the deer lease.
Since then I have had a 1990, 1997, 2003, 2012 Wrangler.
In 2021 I bought a First Edition Bronco.

2023 F150 Lightning—I went a year older on the Bronco since I got such a great trade-in for my Lightning. The truck was fun to drive and comfortable, but it had no off-road ability, and the range was terrible.

Drove a 2012 2dr Jeep Rubicon and a 2016 Jeep Sahara. We have been driving Jeeps for decades. Had some really great times with them. Traded the Rubicon to buy a Bronco Badlands. My husband decided to keep the Sahara because it is a 4dr and he needed it for fishing. Other wise would have kept the Rubi. The Rubi was our favorite a blast to drive and have fun in.

Having said that I love my Bronco. In 2024 we did a 10,000 mile camping trip out west to see all the National Parks, including as many side trips as possible over every terrain. Went to Moab and met Jeep owners and Bronco owners had a great time. The Bronco lived up to all my expectations and more. I still miss the Rubi because it was a 2dr and loved driving it. I love both for different reasons. The Bronco is an amazing piece of machinery and it's capabilities definitely impress.

I lost all my pictures of the Rubicon and other pic's when I had to get a new phone. The picture below is pretty close. The only real difference is, we left the words RUBICON on ours and we didn't have the window deflectors.

I had a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe XRT that I lifted 2" and a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Was supposed to be for looks but we put it in situations that we probably shouldn't have.
