I am in the process of installing a new CV Fabrication turbo back exhaust and thought I would share where I did my cuts. I did not want to remove the brace and since I am a one man band, wasn't up to the challenge.

Gettiing it off was simple, here are the pics on where I cut and the blade I used. The blade was a perfect size and wasn't concern hitting anything on accident, just go slow and steady.

Now I need to start putting it back together.

I haven't done this yet, so why did you cut the cats off since the CVF is catted?

I cut the cats off, so I didnt have to remove the cross member. In my opinion a lot easier.

I would also suggest putting the new mid cross over pipe in before you install the driver side pipe to the turbo. I installed the driver side turbo pipe, had to loosen it and fight. If I wou;d have known I would have installed the mid first and then the mid cross over pipe.

Hey man we are all here to learn, so never stupid.. :)

I wouldnt remove the crossmember if on the floor and no help. It was super easy cutting it and it makes sure you never go back to stock.. LMAO

Here are some things I learned:
- No need to remove down 02 sensors when moving original pipe, you can easily get it off with OEM cat pipe if you cut the pipe.
- Swap down 02 sensors - (I read this so I was ready)
-Install the mid pipe first before the driver side catted pipe, makes life so much easier.
-Do not tighten the catted pipes until you have the mid pipe on. (I saw some saying tighten and some not, I tightened and that was the wrong move.
-Do not install the top 02 sensor on passenger side until tightening the catted pipe. Easier to tighten it with 02 out.

I stopped after installing new catted pipes and mid pipe, so tomorrow should be a breeze.

Alright, fully installed and here is what an stealth one looks like and this is the start-up for the first 10 minutes at idle, then 2 minutes at 2500 RPM.

I set the tips exactly 2in from the bumper

Here are some various sound clips inside. Honestly I think its not as loud as stock when normal driving and yes if I step on the gas it does sound louder.
