So how does one get the bottom to sit flush (L side) like the right does

also yellow circle is the pillar and top canvas won’t stay pulled down

do you live with it and be annoyed or is there a fix ?

thanks

For the flush part, the soft top is bolted to a bracket that's behind a small trim panel in the rear cargo area. If you remove the soft top, you unbolt 3 bolts on the top from that bracket, the bracket stays installed in the rear quarter panel. That bracket has some adjustment in it, I think it has 3 bolts going to the body, probably need to slide the driver's side down about 1/4".

I would see if you can level that out before working on the velcro part - it will probably settle in closer to being even up top once the bottom is more flush. But short of just "tugging hard", not much I've found you can do with the velcro along the top pieces.

Lmao I didn’t think about that (adjusting the bracket) I noticed it after the dealer replaced the old style rear window for the updated since the OG canvas peeled off the molded Plastic.

definitely will give the top a tug after I do step one check lol

my 2021 bronco has the same two things going on as yours and I’ve actually never thought about all this. I’m going to run out there and crawl into my trunk and check it out!

If that doesn’t work, you can adjust the hold down clip on the inside of the tailgate. Unscrew the bolt, move the clip down and it will force the soft top to engage at a lower points thus having the top sit lower.

for the top corner, I would fold back the canvas and confirm that the plastic liner is not bunched up and is sitting flat then pull the canvas over and Velcro it tight!

I’ve always found it’s easier putting the windows and getting the snaps to hold and Velcro to reach- make sure you have the front latches open as if you were going to open the top. Then once you get everything snapped in and Velcro- then snap the latches shut above the driver/passenger. The top needs that bit of give when the latches are open.

Definitely was the hold down clip, for some reason that side was all the way up

Thanks !!!
