Looks like black is the only interior color available for a 2 door badlands bronco of any exterior color... hard to understand why they would choose to do that. Everyone knows how hot they are.

It's been that way since launch—for whatever reason black is the most popular interior color. I'm guessing Ford is well aware of this and why they include a black interior on the upper trim. Heck, I've known several people who bought vehicles specifically because of their black interior.

BUT, I hear ya. If the now-discontinued Roast interior was available on Badlands I absolutely would have gotten it.

(I won't lie though, black was my second choice after Roast. 🤷‍♂️ )

Appreciate the response- eve the smoked truffle/black would be a little cooler and look better with the new dessert sand & marsh gray colors. Happy new year. Thanks again

Those of us who are older remember all the colorful cars in parking lots. Yellows, purples, greens, reds, blues and everything in between. But not only that: interiors could be had in a variety of colors, with vinyls and fabrics - many with plaids and pleats, textures/material mixes - which could be specified in the customer order. It was rare to see blue exterior with brown interiors back then.

Automotive manufacturers today make a big deal features appealing to the "personal lifestyle" of their customers, yet their limiting of choices for those customers today are (for whatever reason) are unarguably limited.

Sure, the quality and durability of the interiors are vastly superior to what they once were, but that doesn't change the fact that we are now limited in our choices.

Appreciate you insight and agree with your take on the interiors. I was born in 1955 in NC & remember we never wanted a black interior because how hot the seats got in the summer- ouch. Thanks

Hi, I'm new here, but wanted to mention that i heard that only the 2.3L engine is available on the 2 door Badlands.
I have a 2 door Outer Banks with the 2.7 and was going to order a 2025 Badlands 2 door with the 2.7 and was told it wasn't available. I'll probably look for a leftover 2024 and save some money.
I hope you find what you're looking for..

I’m with you, although I have the black vinyl, I wanted something lighter; like a brown/khaki, light gray, anything.

Like you said, it’s hot down South and it’s one reason I rarely remove the top and I do want to take the top off more, but only can in Spring and Fall. Guess it’s time to splurge for the J Tops Mesh.

One thing that helps me with top on is Ceramic Tint; worth every penny and actually does work when you get a good one. I have 3M.

Thanks for the reply- is what it is...although I did call ford & enlighten them of my disenchantment. Happy new year! Might go with a 4 door outer banks. I kinda wanted the 2.7 engine. At my age it's probably more practical. Not sure how much rock crawlin' I'll be doin in my 70's. I will be off road & on the beach though.

Not that old... but your right, will look good whether I'm crawling through the nc mountains or playin in the sand on the nc coast like I did for 14 years in my '86 bronco (gun metal gray with tan top & tan tire cover). I miss that ole' steed! Ready for another bronco!

Exactly. I'm a 1956 model myself. And another thing (while I'm waggling my cane): In the olden days people avoided white and black cars because they were so hard to keep clean. Now, I'd bet 50% of the newer vehicles out there are white or black.
