So far tested to 70mph. Dead quiet… for a Bronco. I’d consider this a permanent fix. Also helps to know someone with a CNC router.

Ford Bronco Big Green Badlands Build IMG_1827

I love my Morrflate compressor but I wanted to see how to avoid opening the hood and hooking up to the battery. Yeah, lazy, maybe, but hey…

So I whipped up a bracket design and sent it to SendCutSend and like magic they cut and sent me the bracket. :)

I have a thick jumper that I’ll connect to the battery and run down to the front bumper.

The cover should protect the plug just fine despite the crap I drive through.

I need to cut the compressor cord and install another Anderson connector there.

The idea is I can pull out the compressor, put it by the front bumper, connect the air lines and quickly hook up the power and go.

I’m trying to get it so that it takes less time to set up than air up which is an issue with these modern compressors.

I had to trim 1/2 in off. The plastic warps pretty bad in the heat. I may need to go with a more rigid material.

This box houses the remote functionality for the winch. Both wired and wireless. I kinda had it secured to the battery box but now have a proper mounting plate. I had the plate made by SendCutSend and I added the rivnuts.

New shoes. I was disappointed at how fast the Goodyears wore out. But one last random flat was the last straw. Let’s just say I can plug a tire real good like now.

So far in the couple miles I’ve driven these K03s they are smoother and quieter than the clapped out Goodyears.

I wouldn't hold much faith in that cover. They do make IPX6 components though.
