I’ll try and resist major mods to start off and enjoy the Bronco as it comes. Looking to get a decked out one to begin with. Might divert Bronco mod funds to the M3 and make that thing more of a beast! Too bad everything comes with an ///M tax! $$$$$
Not a bad idea at all, although if not the Bronco, always the other Buff Pony to get from Ford

Do stickers count? I wanted to add some horsepower and I heard they’re good for 3-5 per.
Why stop with that?

No modifications for me. I do not want to hear a word from Ford as to a reason why they can't honor the factory WARRANTY! The Badlands model well come with everything I need then when it breaks hopefully Ford will fix.
Catback and Drop in filter won't vid the warranty

Sure thing, maybe after you put a few thousand dollars into it.
Throw the same money into a V8 and let me know if you'll still eat them.

But hey, keep that dream alive.

25!!! Wow they have really engineered those stickers to max output. I’ll be 1000 HP in no time.

The responses didn’t leave much room for middle ground...I’ll probably do some suspension mods, some engine mods, some to improve off road ability otherwise, some lighting and cabin mods...a moderate amount of things. The responses were basically: change everything, change nothing, or just mod one certain area. None of those fit what I’ll do, and a lot will do.
this vehicle is awesome out of the box with Sasquatch...but it screams to be modded.

Honestly, now that Mansquanch is a reality, other than a winch and a tune, I’m where I want to be for the terrain I normally wheel. They’ve taken the biggest wants (gears, big tires and lockers) and included them in what should be a fairly affordable add on package (around $50 a month on the payment).

I'm honestly debating if I just want a base so I can mod the heck out of it or just get a BD and go more modest.

Modding is like getting a tattoo. You start with one small thing...pretty soon you have sleeves on both arms and are spending all your time searching for the perfect winged animal and misspelled tat for your entire back.

I will keep my '79 Bronco to appease my wrenching fix and leave the '21 stock for the foreseeable future.

Sounds good, I'd just recommend an Intercooler, charge pipes and oil catch can just to be extra safe, especially for the summer months if you push it a bit
Intercooler might be the most important thing here. The intercooler on my Explorer ST is almost identical to that of a Focus ST (which is a joke) and the truck runs really hot. Plan on replacing it with a Whipple intercooler, which should literally make it run 30-50 degrees cooler. Definitely something to look into, esp with the 2.7.

Honestly I'm getting a Badlands for the simple fact not modifying much. New wheels and tires then fender deletes. I had a lifted jeep after that I learned want I like. Leveling kit and 33s are my favorite? Engine wise anything gets me MPGs for long road trips! First place I'm taking this thing is Alaska. 4200 miles one way from where I live!

I might go with Ford Performance tune if offered on my 2.7 Badlands. I'm still undecided if I'm going to Squatch it.

I have a 2012 Subie STi on which I put a full exhaust/highflow cat and a tune.
Then at 19k miles, the infamous ring land failure cyl 4 reared its ugly head.
New block needed.
I put it all back to stock, but somehow they knew of the tune and exhaust.
The dealer knew that particular failure was a common issue tho and went to bat for me with Subaru of America (which loves to void warranties)
It was a close call, but I got the new motor under warranty.

Therefore, I'll probably be more cautious with the Bronco. Will definitely add overlanding type stuff though.

Absolutely. Never had a vehicle that I left stock. With that said I’m not touching the powertrain. 2.7 should be plenty of power while I’m still in warranty.

Everything else is fair game though. Suspension upgrades when they become available, skid plates, **TASTEFUL** and moderate lighting. Interior changes will include GG plate system hopefully that will include a rear seat delete with hatch storage for 2 door.

These things are begging to be tweaked and I can’t see who shows up as big players to the Bronco aftermarket.
