Update. I got a call this afternoon! The bronco is in the yard! I'm like what.....? What?!?! wild?!?!? In fact I'm on cloud 9. But then 2 things..... after sitting in a field for over a year I find out someone has enjoyed the truck for over 100 miles.... ok... fine.... it is what it is...

I ask for pictures and the wind is knocked out of my sails.... I know it's not a big deal to most people but man I really didn't want holes in my truck there.... I'm no fan of Karen's or there male counterparts. So I don't wanna freak out but I mean come on....They said it was because they didn't expect a 2023 to be an actual order this late in the year. And the tech just installed it before anyone could say anything........

What would be a reasonable request? Just grin an bare it? Bumper plugs? Paint matched bumper plugs? New front facia? Get a good night's sleep and get over it? I'm just bummed after over 4 years waiting....None of my trucks or cars have a front plate and I personally think we're they have it on the Broncos ruins the flow of the truck.

Thoughts?

Awesome Bronco! I'd go with the paint matched bumper plugs. I've seen them and they look fine in-person. There are little indents in there from the factory so it's not a perfectly smooth piece anyway.. Still, messed up that Granger did that.

Way OFF TOPIC but did anyone register to get an allocation for the 60 Year Mustang?
I didn't but would love a Brittany Blue one!

Has anyone else had an issue with the white body stripe vinyl on the Heritage edition bubbling? I’ve got a 2024 that was delivered in March. It now has just over 4000 miles and one morning last week when I went In the garage the passenger side door and rear quarter panel white vinyl stripwas full of bubbles that never existed before. Really odd and I’ve got no idea why this happened basically overnight. Thoughts?

It looks like Ford will have the vinyl replaced under warranty (by a body shop), but I’m not happy this happened to a nearly new car

I ordered a 2dr RR Heritage built the week of 2/7/24 and it was on a quality assurance hold for 5 months…I found out there was a problem with the stripes on Heritage Edition only. Something to do with the adhesive staining the paint. Don’t know what the resolution was. Needless to say I didn’t take it when it finally showed up at the dealer a few weeks ago.

How did you find out the specifics of the hold?

I’m a FoMoCo retiree and still have some contacts.
Nice! My father was a FoMoCo employee for 37 years. Used to pay dividends when trying to get info. I had a 75 Mustang that burned up the main engine harness. He was able to locate a technician that was the Chicagoland wiring expert. He made short work out of a job most shops wouldn’t touch.

That’s odd I think you’re the first person this happens to. It’s good the dealer is going to have another body shop do the stripes because they have to be flush with the other fender and quarter panel stripes otherwise they’ll look wonky

Perhaps this explains my hold on my 3/1 build? Still hasn't been delivered. Ironically I plan to remove the stripes soon after purchase.
